TUF GAMING B550-PLUS (WI-FI) Desktop Motherboard - AMD Chipset - Socket AM4 - Micro ATX

This was actually the first time I've ever opened or messed with a desktop, aside from replacing RAM, so if a blue collar HVAC service tech can replace the motherboard & processor, easily figure out where everything plugs into, different fans, lighting, USB & hard drives; anyone should be able to. My son has a 1yr old big store, pre-built desktop, has decent graphics card but other than that, it just wasn't cutting it for his gaming any longer, & RAM alone wasn't enough, so he wanted the Ryzen 5 series processor & had to pair it w a motherboard. We researched and found the compatibility of this motherboard to fit everything needed, & should handle upgrades for a few years. As soon as you open it up you can see it was built with quality standards. Arrives with the extra screws (hardware) that was needed for attaching the Tuf Gaming B550-Plus WiFi in place of existing board, because of size difference, the Asus board being a bit bigger yet compact enough to fit inside a pre-built smaller medium tower. Easily determined where everything plugs into, thanks to the details in the included instruction book. Found appropriate bios flash & followed instructions, & couldn't be happier with the turnout, considering this was a lot cheaper than a new pre-built that would only last another year.

Only been up and running for a couple of days, so far everything is great. Finally had to build another machine after 10 years. The old MB was a Asus M5A97 EVO from 2010. This is why I always use Asus MB's . I'm still using my original (Antec) case from 2010.

Excellent motherboard for AMD CPUs. Very fast NVME, SATA ports, has a lot of connectors for LED strips both for 5V and 12V, either RGB or WS2812 driven. Only one USB-C port in the back. A lot of USB3 in the back. Really nice audio, overall a really nice motherboard, will see how long it lasts.

Excellent motherboard , what else can say I only buy Asus when building my PC.

So far so good. very nice motherboard. plenty of connections. overclocking is nice. bios is somewhat easy to use.and the motherboard has a bit of RGB lighting. It also stays cool while under heavy load in games or benchmarks

It was a very easy install. I haven't been able to figure out the onboard wifi capabilities but it could very well be my own laziness or that my internet just sucks.

Love the board, wifi and Bluetooth work great plenty of connections. I would have given it 5 stars, but it falls short missing a usb-c connector for the front panel and it doesn't integrate with corsair software even though it is listed it does.

This is a solid motherboard low maintenance easy to update even a easy bios flashing the most basic of users can do it. My only concern is amd refresh issues but I believe that is a amd not addressing the bug not Asus.

Overclocking for DDR does not work properly and has been a know issue since 2021
