I love the motherboard so far. It booted up well the first time. There have been not issues. I works well with my i5 11600K. I am getting very good benchmarks.
Best board I've ever owned never had a single problem always overclocked perfectly and always has the right amount of ports I have an entire asus tuf build due to buying this board !
This is great motherboard, has all fan header that you
One of the best MOBOs I've ever had! It doesn't give me any issues and works amazingly
I had to return one due to a very loud clicking noise from the PCI-e port, but once I got a second board it still has the issue just not nearly as severe as the first one. Other than the now very feint clicking (voltage ticks), the board has been great. The RAM slots are a bit hard to work with, they don't always click in correctly and cause black screening on boot, so make sure they are in tight! The noise reduction is actually very good, but I would only recommend using it for noise going out through the mic, not receiving as it cuts out sounds you do want, such as voicemod, soundboard, etc. The CPU slot is pretty close to the RAM, I had to get a Noctua U12S which advertises 100% compatibility with tall RAM and I still had to raise the fan to not block the ram. I had to return a be quiet Dark Rock Pro 4, but the Noctua does amazing with my i7-11700k. Everything else has been pretty amazing.
When it comes to value for the buck and unless you're a die-hard gamer, it would be difficult to mach TUF boards for sturdiness and reliability... with one caveat: Aura's so-so performance on these boards will frustrate fans of "Christmas tree" style casings. To those I suggest buying an oversized CPU fan that comes with its own rainbow-style kaleidoscopic display, Not only do these cool the cpu better than even water systems but they draw plenty of attention if that's your fancy. I use an unlocked i9 and never saw it climb past 39c (disclaimer: I don't overclock i9's it's a born rocket anyway). Wish I could say the same about the southbridge which can get very hot and not knowing its limits, that makes me nervous a bit. The old TUF chipset cooling was more efficient IMHO. That being said this Z590 is still king of the hill in the midrange realm. Highly recommended for the relatively budget-conscious casual gamer who doesn't mind somewhat bland aesthetics.
Asus is still my favorite go to for quality motherboards and a BIOS that is solid and easy to tweak. All my hardware installed and played nice building my new pc. The only snag was once windows 10 pro was loaded I could not install asus drivers from the supplied disc or from the my-gunbroker flash drive downloaded from the asus support site. I had no ethetnet and was dead in the water. Seems like it's a common issue if you are not using the latest win 10 build. The work around the installing a wifi card to connect to the internet or installing the latest win 10 build on USB flash drive and load from the flash drive. I simple booted to windows then ran the win 10 installer from my flash drive and window's updated and all my drivers then worked. Had the driver disc worked it would be 5 stars. This thing is stupid fast with my I9 and boots to desktop from power off in about 9 seconds.
its a good board. but I had one M.2 slot that wouldn't read my harddrive. i got it to work on the other two slots but it was just odd it didnt work.. i have the newest firmware also. i didnt want to send it in for a RMA. i cant have my computer down since i use it for work
Audio causes BSODs frequently when ending programs. Have yet to find a work around for this issue that is driver based honestly. Otherwise the board works find once you update the bios to stop those crashes.
The software with this MB is trash obtrusive redundant and does not function the changes you have made are slow and not up to the normal ASUS standards.
