This thing is a beast. Ultra settings and high FPS on every single game I throw at it. Temperature never goes above 60-65. Even running the most demanding games. Wish I had the money for the 3090 version of this card. I bet it's ridiculous. Don't be afraid to send me one ASUS. Lol Hook me up!!!
Ok, so I'm not a big gamer, so I'm not looking for the ultimate framerates but this card is fast. My last card was the Asus ROG 2060 and the difference is night and day. My main application is photo editing which uses the GPU to do the hard work, and its become really much faster on the edits. I've had a history of Asus Nvidia cards, and this card is the first one to encourage me to look at possible gaming, and maybe Flight Sim.
OMG! This card is 110% awesome! IT will do anything you need it to. I simply play Warzone at 1440p, and I consistently get over 200 fps. Far cry difference from my 2070 Super, which was awesome as well, but this blows it away!
Card is amazing and runs ridiculously cool.. Upgraded from rtx 2080 super.. And no comparison.. And on another rig I run a asus tuf 3080 and it's even a tad better than that.. Tuf series for me
I upgraded to the 3080ti from a Rog Matrix 980ti. The fps and gsync capability are massively superior although the 980ti was still more than playable on todays games. The only downside i have noticed is that the 3080ti seems to spike in temperature and shut down my pc at what seems to be random times which is the cause for the 4 star rating. Otherwise as a whole the card has massively improved the overall playability in games and im very happy with it.
Great performance for the price. Very subtle LED. The only thing I wish they changed was the LED location. The LED is located right where the power supply cables would fall blocking, thus blocking it. I routed the cables above so as not to but it looks worse for doing so.
This video card was performing beautifully out of the box. Unfortunately after an Nvidea driver update, my framerates went down to unplayable levels (e.g. 8 fps at 1080p) in multiple games. After becoming quite frustrated, I downloaded the latest drivers from ASUS, and after installation, my framerates were back close to 100 fps on ultra settings on my 4k monitor. I don't know why the Nvidea drivers would be so poor, or even different from those published by ASUS, but they are radically different. Outside of that issue, the card does run pretty hot even inside a well ventilated case, but I haven't experienced any thermal-related throttling so far. The card seems pretty indestructible otherwise.
This is a pretty awesome gpu. A bit pricey, but the build quality is fantastic! Plenty of power delivery via 6 upgraded capacitors (instead of the usual 1-2 of 6), for good overclocking!
Extremely expensive at the time for a good card, I bought it because there were no other options for a high end card so this is it. It runs most games great but still does not top out everything I play which is unfortunate for what I paid.
This card runs games nearly flawlessly and on highest settings which is great; however, under stress, the card produces a high-pitched whine. I believe they call it coil whine online. I thought it would be gone by now (2 months into owning it), but it has not let up. For the amount of money that I paid for this card, I would expect higher quality parts that do not produce a high-pitched noise. It's very annoying and I've forced myself to accept it/get used to it.
