I rated this TUF 4090 because I already own one, use it daily, and can vouch for it. I like it well enough to buy it again before they are discontinued. Unfortunately, this particular unit was treated a little rough in shipping and the box was torn up. I'm sure it was most likely fine, but I was still uncomfortable. I didn't open it and just opted to return it. The return process through WalMart and its third party seller was straight forward, prompt, and efficient. There is no question I will continue to use WalMart in the future.
This thing is bad-A$*. I can finally play RDR2. Granted I had to take out a small loan, and it's pbj's and a coffee diet this month....Holy shoooot are they proud of this this thing. I would be too! In fact I am, I haven't spoiled myself like this in a longtime. Worth it! It is a quiet and cool BEAST compared to my previous set up. PBJ's are starting to get rank tho bro ngfl.
Re: asus tuf oc 4090 24gb. Very quiet, runs very cool under 100% load ~65 degs And of course, runs absolutely anything at ultra settings.
Great gpu a little coil whine when you start a game but it's not loud or anything that would bother me.
This GPU is an absolute beast. It makes any game look amazing if you're into that, and if you're more of a nerd, you will probably love this for playing around with machine learning. One thing I would caution potential buyers about is its size. This card barely fits in my case and is butted up against the CPU cooler, but if you have a case that's on the smaller side, it may be physically impossible to install the card. I would also recommend that purchasers consider also buying a bracket to help support the weight of the card so that GPU sag will not occur and you are less likely to encounter issues later. I also appreciate that this card only has a minimal amount of RGB lighting on it (although there is some). I don't like RGB in my builds, so the less of it there is, the better.
I purchased the Asus TUF Gaming OC 4090 about a week ago and am thoroughly impressed. Upgrading from a 3090, this 4090 runs cooler with stock fan settings than the 3090 with aggressive fan curves and the brute power is just unbeatable. Build quality and aesthetically it feels and looks like a premium product. I am leaving out any comments on pricing because if you want to have the best you have to pay for it. I have found only 3 minor downsides to the card however none of them deal breakers or affect performance. The first is the cable length, the cable is so short that all of the 4 8pin cables are showing in the case instead of being long enough to run the single cable out of view. Second is the lack of an included gpu support and Asus is missing a branding opportunity by not including one with their name. The third is that only the Tuf Gaming logo and a small portion underneath have rgb lighting where as they could have also illuminated the GeForce RTX logo.
Can play any ultra modded Skyrim list. Had zero issues running this card against any game?
Best RTX GPU. Can do a lot more then it's expected. Excellent view on graphics even on 75 inch TV.
Very bad. I used it for less than a month and it broke. I asked for help and they wanted to give me a used one. Their service is broken. Their product is fragile and the most expensive of the competition.
Not sure if it is the card not working or the motherboard but either way, until I can get this video card to even be recognized by my PC, it gets 1 star.
