A tad disappointed.
My spouse and I have both had shoulders and hand surgeries so I thought these pitchers would be ideal. However, we are not able to open and close them using just one hand. It really takes two hands and then the lid must come off completely in order to pour. But the size is ideal for our needs and the colors are pleasing.

I am so disappointed. The impression was given that 1 was a gallon size. Not! So now I'm stuck with 1 0 cup and a less than 1/2 a gallon pitcher. What a waste. If I hadn't already run them thru the dishwasher, I'd return them.
