TurboTax Premier 2014 - Box pack - 1 user - CD - U.S. Federal only - Win - with E-file 2014 + State 2014

I have been using TurboTax for over 15 years and have always found it to be a great tool for completing my income tax. The quality is still there however this year there was a corporate decision to move a number of the schedules out of the 'Deluxe' version which forced many users to purchase the 'Premier' version just to be able to handle such common things as Capital Gains. Many of us were not happy about being forced into the more expensive version to do the same functions we have done in the past with the less expensive Deluxe version and let Intuit know. Fortunately, Intuit listens to its customers and has rectified the issue in two ways: 1) For folks like me who had already purchased the more expensive version they are providing a $25 rebate after tax filing and 2) For those purchasing the Deluxe version after 2-7-15, Intuit is now providing the missing schedules as a product update. So to answer my question: Yes, Intuit does listen to their customers and tries to do the right thing.

Satisfied again. I have a long list of TurboTax icons on my desktop so I can easily view the last few years of returns up to the statute of limitations. Next year I will again buy the update from Sams Club. It is cheaper from Sams Club than it is to buy directly from Intuit.

As a turbo tax user for many years I'm aware of its many features and capabilities. The primary reason I use Turbo Tax is its ability to handle complex investment data by import from my brokerage company. Forms are completed by the software so that I don't have to search for complicated rules and conduct math calculations. The software arrived on a disk at my home in excellent condition in a timely fashion. Sam's Club delivered quickly and efficiently on my purchase.

this is great for those that have investments and other sources of income and is easy to use. It has reminders along the way for things you might not think about and lets you know if standard deductions is better than itemizing your deductions. You can see how much you owe or get back at each step and how each entry category impacts your return

Good Product. TurboTax put this product on 50% off sale a couple days after I bought it. Not happy with that. Not happy with TurboTax's handling of the Deluxe version down grade.

Have used this product before, but had to purchase the Premiere edition over the Deluxe edition, that we used in previous years. You can no longer use the Deluxe edition if you are going to itemize to any degree. As in the past, each year the software changes a bit, just enough to make it difficult to navigate from section to section. We spent a lot of time going back and forth in order to get the info in the right place. This product is not user friendly, as you must have some basic understanding of the tax forms and your reporting responsibilities. However, if you're willing to spend a few hours learning how to navigate the product, it will save you a substantial amount over a paid preparer..

Disappointed with this years TurboTax. Cannot password protect on your computer, must go to Intuit. Importing data not dependable as expected. Had to buy Premier for functions used last year in lower version. TurboTax/Intuit has taken a step back in quality and content.

They have taken some options that were include in TT, and now you are required to pay an upgrade fee for the same service. Its time to explore other tax options.

I have enjoyed using turbo tax for more than six years. Extremely disappointed with the the 2014 version. They made simple forms that I have always used with the deluxe unavailable unless you purchase the premier. I know that I have options, so next year I will be looking more seriously at the competition.

I've used TurboTax for over 20 years. It's been an outstanding program in the past. This year, its functionality has been limited. Deluxe used to do Schedules C, D, E, and F, but it doesn't do them any more. Premier now has limited functionality for Schedule C, with expenses limited to $100 plus telephone plus standard mileage. It also no longer does Schedule F. You have to get the more expensive Home & Business to do these.
