So I bought the Turtle Beach Rematch Core Wired Gaming for my PC gaming because my original controller, a 8bitdo Xbox controller seen better days. Let me tell you what I regret buying it. Because of the following reasons;
First off, this is the most important downside, but nonetheless it still is something that is somewhat off-putting; the controller essentially has this really cheap plasticy feel to it. The the utmost atrocious downside is the fact that the thumbsticks are a bit too sensitive, this is even even after downloading, installing and opening up the the Turtle Beaches PDP Controller Hub app and attempting to try and calibrate the controller to my liking. But little to no avail did it actually work. I mean the Turtle Beaches PDP Controller Hub app is not intuitive nor does it actually really work at all help calibrate the dead zones at all or any other settings for better user interface. So just like the Turtle Beach Rematch Core Wired Gaming controller itself, the Turtle Beaches PDP Controller Hub app is utterly useless.
The last thing that I seriously a downside and really off putting about the controller is that completely ruins gameplay is how the thumb sticks because of their sensitivity tend to somehow cause action buttons like drawing a weapon, shooting, or other actions to active, which normally would require tapping the A, B, X, Y buttons to activate. I first notice this issue when I was playing Skyrim, now before jumping to conclusions I decided to see if other games such as Far Cry 3 as well as Assassin's Creed Odyssey would have the same issue, and lo and behold when playing those aforementioned games the thumbsticks did in fact cause certain actions actions that normally require me to tap the A, B, X, Y buttons to activate. At a clarify sort of occurrence did not happen when I used my 8bitdo Xbox controller. (and for those who might suggest just go back to using my old controller, I've already done such)
So in summary, The Turtle Beach Rematch Core Wired Gaming Controller is hands down an utterly craptastic semi-budget controller, that I would not recommend to any serious gamer, let alone anybody who plays games on their PC or Xbox.
