so far as a new user of flight simulator 2024 this has been a pretty good rig. I spent a good amount of time trying to cut some of it and looking forward to using it more.
Got the full setup for the XBox and once it's set up, it's great. The rudder pedals however need to be toggled off before shutdown, and then on again during the following session or else the toe brakes stop working. Probably could use a software update for this bug. Otherwise fantastic!
The original yoke system I received was defective, but the company was easy to work with and responsive and got me a new replacement device. The new device works, the vernier levers are very easy to move. Would be nice if they had a little more resistance to them, but a nice starter system overall.
It's a good yoke, works fine. My son uses it on Xbox, but unfortunately the preset configuration is not as mentioned in user manual. It needs a lot of configuration…
The flight yoke is good but having issues with the device "desyncing" and loses X-Axis control. Also, the apps for the flight you needs overhaul. But overall, it works for 99% of the time.
All the other options from other makers are either lacking quality or too expensive for entry level enthusiasts or people with budget constraints. This product is a sweet spot between quality and cost. The only thing that kept me from 5 stars is that the throttle controls (or levers) are very smooth and are not anywhere close to realistic feel. Also, one-handed steering of yoke ends up in jerky motion due to the unresolved lateral force. Maybe this is a friction issue and I've read that over time it's not as prominent.
Received in great condition. Was fairly straight forward in installation. Initial start-up was a bit bumpy. The cord connecting the throttle quadrant to the main unit wasn't communicating properly. Switched connector ends around and it then started working properly. Who knew it was directionally sensitive? Many of the button controls were not assigned so a lot of button programming was necessary. If something stops working properly a system re-boot will need to be performed more frequently than it should. When everything is working properly it is a great joy to use.
I got the bundle yoke and rudder pedal but it would not connect to each other. Only the yoke would work everything was connected properly. I try doing the tutorial and update but the system told me I did not need updates. I try to go to the home screen. I by mistake put updates it was searching for about 5 minutes I try to back out this was 12 hours ago anytime I turn on the equipment it still shows as updating. You can only contact support via email. Not a good experience.
Only partially sets up with the game. Control in game is atrocious. Buttons are next to impossible to get setup. If you do get them set up, they won't save for the next flight. Don't know how much of thus problem is the controller and how much is the game. But this was the biggest waste of money I've made in a long time.
I have spent over 6 hours trying to get my system to work on my new Xbox with MS Flight Sim 2024. I have exhausted the AI Assistant and it still doesn't work. Turtle Beach refuses to connect me with a human to help: instead they require the use of email, which they only respond about once every other day. The email support just takes you through the same steps as the AI assistant, so it is a big waste of time. Turtle Beach has absolutely terrible technical support. I am probably going to switch to a different product because I am exhausted and cannot get this “plug and play” system to work.
