Been using this product for more than 40 yrs to remove deep ground in dirt in my white auto. It removes deep scratches from the paint. Recently I backed to close to my truck and scraped my side bumper against the rubber on the trucks bumper it looked horrible. I was parked at the mall when a guy asked me if I wanted him to fix the damage, I reluctantly replied how much . He replied just $350. 🤣The compound removed the marks I can't see them at all.
It is a heavy cutting compound and it should be used sparingly. I used this to remove a scratch and it worked great.
Works great
a quality compound at a quality price
Good product can't go wrong. Works great.
Used with a rotary buffer and was very surprised at how well it worked! This compound is really light, highly doubt you could burn through clear coat with it. Left a swirl free nice finish.
WITH WALMART, IT ALWAYS SMOOTH AND BY THE NUMBERS.
Been using it for years with excellent results. I apply it by hand or with a buffing machine. I have made some pretty nasty surfaces look great with this product. I have used it on fiberglass boats and cars to polish them up. Works great on scratched up CD's and DVD's. Read my review on the heavy polishing compound that comes in the same container. Great for light to normal scratch removal.
I tried rubbing the scratches on my truck (metallic blue) and product did not remove them. It does remove dirt and grit nicely. Good for polishing. Had to take truck to professional car detailer to remove scratches.
I just clear coated my bonnet and wet sanded it but not enough to get orange peel out, i thought a compound polish would do the job. It helped to a point but i find it dries REALLY quick and leaves a gum residue. It did give me abit of a shine so i cant complain even though I've done 4 applications and will be doing another in tbe morning. When the clear coat is ready I'll wax it with turtle wax aswell. I'll upload a before and after photo once im finished. I think for light scratches and swirls this product would be great
