I am particularly happy when I find a rich, dark, warm burnt umber to work with. It is an excellent color for underpaintings in portraits, as well as for bringing a warm richness to earthy scenery. It is an excellent color from an excellent paint company.

I was hesitant to try a new brand of paint. It takes so much time to learn how these particular colors blend and dry vs other brands. Short story is this is excellent paint. Excellent pigment saturation, a little goes a long way. If they include a free trial mini tube with my orders a long time ago I would have switched brands sooner!

I discovered this color this year and have made nocturnal paintings based on this tone. It's transparent and mixes wonderfully with other colors for a warmer tone if needed. I love the luminosity.

I know the color on the screen is not 100% true to what you actually get, but I seemed to have fallen in love with this color. It seems to add a level of warmth and richness whether it's mixed or used as is

I love both the color and consistency of the paint. So far I have only used this color with some night time paintings but it has made some beautiful work. Bought this as a fun color to try out and I *love* it. The pigment is clear and vibrant, makes lovely mixes and really adds pizzazz to my fruit paintings. I'll be trying other Tusc & Pine colors soon.

Love this red! It's really my go to color for all my painting. Mixes well with any color and stays smooth!

I don't really fool around with trying a lemon yellow. I just use this and marble white for that. For this particular color the texture is GREAT. When thinking of degree of warmth and coolness, well I keep changing my mind.

This is a rather cool color--I was expecting more of a hot pink. Should have gotten a rose. That being said, if you want a cool magenta this would be great.
