My family has used this brand for many many years. In fact, you could say almost 3 generations have used this product. I find the quality and the taste to be like no other. I've used several other brands and always come back to this one. The price is good, but the quality and the taste is even better. I highly recommend this one because it has low acidity compared to the other brands. I highly recommend this to anyone that's looking for good taste in their sauce.
This tomato puree is the base for my homemade pasta sauce. It has a delicious flavor on its own, but my family likes things spicy and I can doctor this up to their tastes. I use herbs from my garden, cooked ground beef or poultry along with hot sausage and hot peppers and let it cook in the crockpot for 10 - 12 on low. I've tried other name brands but keep coming back to the Tuttorosso brand. It works well with zucchini or other squash varieties as a vegetarian dish for home or to take to a pot luck supper and I've never had any leftovers to take home! It's less expensive than the big named products but I think it tastes better. Definitely recommend this product!
This is one of the Thickest %26 most Tastey Tomato Puree and the Price is perfect. Do you know that PUREE is Tomato Sauce w/o Water so you're saving money by buying it and using the water you have at home. It held you control thickness in your sauce %26 you had your own spices or ground meat or onions or peppers or mushrooms etc. THIS brand saves time and money! Mangiare !
Tuttorosso has always been our family's go-to for tomato puree. It is always on our shopping list %26 always will be a household staple. It's rich %26 fresh in flavor, and it's great as a base for soup %26 sauces. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
These are Great for anything really, super versatile we make sauces with them for sandwiches, pasta, curry and such for holidays or normal day to day meals plus always buy in bulk as the shelf life is crazy good.
i used this to make my homeade italian red sauce for stuffed shells and i really captured the authentic homeade style wi was going for with this product
I make italian Red Sauce once a month and will only use Tuttorosso Puree, crushed and paste only. I find the tomatoes not to be bitter and have a nice texture.
A little bit different than Hunts but once you add the super secret stuff in it to make YOUR recipe, you'll never know the difference. Plus, FETCH gives you points on purchase.
This is a great product. This is the product that I ordered. However, this was not the product that I received. I received no salt crushed tomatoes in dented cans. I will never order from Walmart online delivery again
Cans were both dented when they arrived. Walmart will only refund one of them. tried putting in the information and even spoke to a person about getting reimbursed for the second can, to no avail. Thanks a lot Walmart
