Easy, effective, extra large compared to regular mouse traps. The bait is put in a small pocket which you unlock from the bottom of the trap. No chance of catching your fingers in all those teeth. If the trap is sprung the bait can't be stolen. To set, the trap must be held upright, perpendicular to the ground, press it open until you hear a click. I put a wire in one of the provided holes and have to check that it doesn't get into the way of setting the trap. Anchored wire keeps a creature from dragging away my trap. I completely love these traps. They are so effective.

I really liked this mousetrap because it's easy to set and catches mice and voles with or without bait. The only drawback that I found is the cold outside in the winter tends to make it more fragile. The traps, at the foundation of the house, caught so many mice in the fall that I haven't found any getting in the house.

If it gets a larger rodent...we had 1 , the larger rodent maybe able to move for a moment, but not far. The ease of baiting the traps without it closing on your fingers is great. the baitcup goes in on the underside and turns 90 degrees. We put peanut butter cups into it and it worked like a charm.

These are to the best traditional type mouse traps I've ever used! They're easy to set and bait and catch mice! We live in a small town on the SW Kansas high plains surrounded by miles of open country and mice are a constant problem! especially with the unusually cold weather we've had early this winter! And the mice around here totally ignore various poisons. Easy to use-and dont snap on your finger like old style traps! If you have mice do yourself a favor and get some of these traps! I use peanut butter with pieces of Fritos stuck in it-works great! Hope this helps!

Believe it or not I have mice and rats sneak into my house from the waterway out back. I have 10 cats and kittens and they won't attack the visitors. I truly hate killing them but I can't let them run free in my home. I tried the little wooden traps and had no luck. These bad boys kill, quickly. No torture.

loved how quickly it worked. Got the first field rat in as little as 15 minutes and the second in 30 minutes later same trap. Easy no touch of the rat for disposable and easyto reset

finally got these they are VERY easy to set, easy to fill with bait, teeth offer a very quick elimination. be very careful when setting as they are very sensitive.

Gave this trap a chance and it failed. If a mouse would actually enter the trap it would likely work, but because it looks like a giant open mouth with large teeth it scares the mice away. I used the same bait that has worked every time thru the years and this was the first time it had no result, the mice actively avoided it— not going into a monster's mouth no matter how tempting the odor. Stick with the tried %26 true wire traps— before you have 2nd and 3rd generation mice taking up residence 🙂

Rats were able to eat the peanut butter out from the middle food holder without the mouse trap snapping on them. Also, when it did trap a rap, the rat was able to get loose after a while. these are big men for rats, but only caught mice. Rats were able to eat the food

Ordered this item, and received these mouse traps. Went to use them, and out of the six traps, I was only able to use two of them. The others, I could not set, because they would not lock open. Will not buy these again, from this supplier, because they were useless.
