I love the hot mustard from a Chinese takeout that comes in the little packets. I have tried several different mustards, but just wasn't the same. I saw this in my local Walmart, figured I'd try it. Wow! This is even better than the little packet mustards. This has the k.i.c.k. you want in a hot mustard. My wife had to tone it down with a little honey in her dipping cup, as it was hotter than she was used to. She likes it on egg rolls, egg foo young (mixed in gravy) etc. It's a great mustard sauce for the money. Go for it!
This tastes like the hot mustard they serve in many Chinese restaurants, it may be the same as the little packets they serve. It is extremely difficult to find. Walmart's website has it and I appreciate that because I eat a lot of egg rolls and have found nothing to replace it.
I bought this mustard based on customer reviews and it did not disappoint at all, just as good as the little packets you get in the restaurant, but now we don't have to remember to pick them up!
I love this product; However, why does it have to be shipped? Why can't you give it one SKU of shelf space? You have bot even One Chinese Hot Mustard on your shelf. I can't be your Only customer who eats Hot Mustard on my Egg Rolls and Stir Fry!!!!
This is good mustard, it just doesn't have the same consistency or "zing" as the mustard served in the resturants.
Perfect condiment for Asian inspired dishes or appetizers. Also great on American cuisine for that extra heat.
Great flavor, perfect with any type of egg roll. Perfect amount of heat. Also great addition to soy sauce and garlic for pot stickers. Greatest addition to many recipes, makes your taste buds dance!!
I bought this for my husband. He said it tasted sour like it had gone bad. The jar was sealed and it hadn't gone past the expiration date yet. We will try a different brand next time.
This did not taste like the Chinese mustard that they serve in restaurants. It is not worth buying. I like the Chinese mustard that clears out your sinuses.
Way too vinegary from my taste. And the heat is just not there like the fresh mustard from a Chinese restaurant.
