These seem like a very good running board. With and kids are very happy I put these on so that it's easy for them to get in the truck. The driver said took me about 20-30 minutes to do. The passenger side is a different story. The def tank makes the installation very rough. Your choices are to either drop the def tank or spend 2 - 2 1/2 hours on the passenger side alone. Looking at how big a pain in the butt it looked like it was gonna be I decided to leave the def tank in place and find a way to work around it. I removed the outer plastic shroud and the skid plate on the bottom to give me a little better access. Fellows I suggest using a 13mm ratcheting combo wrench and use a 13mm 1/4' drive shallow well socket with a 1/4' drive flex head ratchet. With those two tools you can install the brackets with the def in place, but I ain't gonna lie to you. It still wasn't easy, but it made it doable. With the front and middle bracket I had to make to slits in the plastic shroud for the def tank. I made them about 3/8' wide by about 2 1/2' long and used by air die grinder with a cut off wheel. First, I'm not even 'shade tree' quality for anything auto. That being said, the price was right so I figured I'd give it a try. The instructions shipped with it seemed to be lacking and weren't as descriptive as the online version from the manufacturer. After printing that version, installation was smooth... except the front passenger bracket. In a perfect world, I needed six of the same mounting bracket; not five of the same mounting bracket and one unique bracket for the front passenger. The front passenger mount took the longest for me. I am not sure about other Silverado's out there; mine didn't have anything different from the front driver's side. A one hour installation took me three hours. That being said, I was able to get the step rails on my truck successfully. They are functional and look great.

pros: black plastic looks good, doesn't seem delicate, mounts seem sturdy. i weigh 230lbs and jumped around on it after installation without any issues. looks pretty good on silver '16 sierra crew cab.cons: pictures in instructions were not printed very well. hard to tell what was going on. took me about an hour of reading through the confusing language and pictures to figure out what i was doing. once i got one side done, the other side was easy.

I waited a year to write a review so I had time to evaluate the steps. They are great and just as easy to install as others had said. I put them on myself in about 2 hours. That was me separating all the parts/reading instructions and locating the attachment points and cleaning them of debris. There are no issues with color fade ( I thought for the price there might be since they are way less expensive than some of the others.) or durability. I would buy another pair for another truck with out hesitation happily. We also live in a area of heavy snow and drive on roads treated with salt/de-icer. The steps show to pitting or defect.

I purchased these bars after looking at many different sites. The price can't be beat and after reading all of the reviews I thought I'd take a chance. They arrived as promised and with no deficiencies. I read the instructions thoroughly, and started on the drivers side. The best way to make sure you are using the right holes is to measure, from center, all three mounting locations on the bars and find the corresponding locations on the vehicle. Once that was done, the install went very easy. Took about an hour or so by myself and they look great. I've driven around all day, climbing in and out, and what a difference. They will definitely help with the wear of the seats. They look great and would absolutely recommend so far.

After shopping around on other websites (even checking brick and mortar stores), these Tyger Risers were both the look and quality I was after (and at a fraction of the price of competing product). I'm pretty happy with these, and they go well with my gray Silverado that has gray/black wheels. In terms of quality -- I'm around 250, have had them for a month or so, and I've never really felt them wobble or bend. We've even had lots of ice/snow, and these risers have never felt slick.I did have one hiccup with a mounting bracket that wasn't powder coated like all the others, but I reached out to Tyger Auto and Rick in customer service did a great job to make things right free or charge. I received a replacement bracket within a week's time.I would totally buy these again and recommend them to others because they are quality-built and almost half the price of everything else I looked at and considered.

This is my new 'best thing I ever ordered online' item. This morning, before my shipment arrived, I had a chance to examine a truck like mine which had factory installed running boards. I wanted to see how they were mounted so I could compare with how this product mounts, guess what--they looked exactly the same. Then this afternoon my order arrived and I got a chance to install these beauties, it took me about an hour and I did scratch my head with the front bracket on the passenger side for a few minutes (it's different from the others) but the finished installation is very impressive! They are very strong and look GREAT! The price was a bargain and I never made a better purchase--Color me VERY SATISFIED. Now I'm going to have to investigate what other products this manufacturer sells.

I really like the looks of the running boards on my 2015 2500HD 4x4. I just installed them yesterday. I started to have them installed by a local garage but I decided to install them myself. This product does what they say. It is perfectly fitted to my truck with no drilling required. Follow the directions. I started on the drivers side as suggested because the passenger side has one mounting bracket that is a little different than all the others. After carefully reading the directions it was no trouble at all and saved me $80+ by installing them myself. Great product and looks very good on my truck. I went with these because they seem to be the most like the one that comes from Chevrolet.

Got these about 8a and very quickly started playing. Of course the instructions where fuzzy until I started messing with everything then came together well. They are very sturdy and very little bounce with what I tried. Steps sit out from the door step making it very easy for my wife and young daughter to climb up into the truck with ease. They look good and would advise to anyone looking for something to add on.

Seems like a good product....would be nice if it had 4 mounts like the oem running boards instead of 3 but many aftermarket setups just use 3 however I am a 300lb giant so hope it holds....the plastic covers for the brackets are cheap with push pins holding them on I may upgrade to black bolts just to be safe they don't fall off...looks good and for the money can't beat them...I figure If they last 5 years I can change the look of my truck later if they rust our or are just junky looking.... only other think I don't like is the bracket for the def tank just send both brackets and if you don't have def be easier to just use the plain bracket
