TYMO Ionic Hair Straightener Brush with 16 Temperature Settings, LED Display, Dual Voltage

I'm using it "off label" so to speak. I restore dolls and a straightening brush is a vital tool in my kit. I've found The One. I cannot say enough good things about this one. It's by far THE BEST I have ever used and I wish I'd tried it sooner. I might stock up in case they stop making them. The low heat settings, which are what I used for my dolls, are consistent, accurate, and steady. The brush glides smooth as silk and doesn't snag and break their hair. The results are the best I've seen. It untangled a hopeless nest of matted snarls that used to be curly hair many years and a lot of playtimes ago and made it beautiful and silky. It also saved a very brittle, heat damaged, and of course matted head of hair I would have thought was a lost cause. Magic. And does it protect from scalding? Oh my goodness yes!!! I haven't burned my hands even ONCE using this, and that's really easy to do when you're working on a doll. That scald protection works. And, even though a doll can't feel it, I don't worry about getting down to the scalp and melting something, plus the bristle shape and design of this makes it possible to even GET to the "roots"!! Eventually, it will wear out, probably, surprisingly, starting with the coating around the bristle bed and not with the temperature control or anything else vital. Mine is starting to peel. However, even though I've only had it a short time, I've used it for hours on end on very damaged and tangled doll hair. We're talking quality assurance type rigours, not normal use! With normal use, I think it would last a person for years of beautiful results. The is the safest, most effective hot tool in my kit. I love it so much. This thing is amazing. Just get it.

As a African American who wears my hair natura and have weakness of my extremitiesl, I decided to give this item a try to help in the management of hair care. I was quite imprssed. The temp goes to 450 degrees. In a relatively quick time I was able to straighten my hair and even put a braid which I have not been able to do for over a year. I mainly washed it and pulled my hair back in a ponytail. I have been wearing a little afro bun. This was so uplifting to know I can at least keep my hair in a neat appearance. My only critique is the location of the powertemp buttons. I do wish it was a little lower because I accidently turned it off a couple times. I was towards the end of my use of the tool and the reserve heat did the trick.

After spending hours trying to straighten my hair with a flat iron to only leave it damaged and frizzy looking I welcomed anything. Say this and bought it and was pleasantly surprised. My thick hair was straighten in less than 10 minutes just by running this brush through my hair. I didn't have to section anything off and do it small sections I was just able to slowly run this through on the top and bottom side with amazingly straight results.

I do love this brush!But it is a lil on the heavy side. I've ordered the cordless ones too. a they're good too, but only for touch ups mostly. this one gets super hot and really quick! I have naturally thick curly hair and it's course from all the highlights and color I guess. Anyways I typically have to put my straightener on 450 or at least 390. but this one I'd say would probably do good on maybe 350 or 360, something like that. I've only had it for a few days. but the cord is fairly long too, which is helpful. But overall I do like it. I definitely have to straighten my hair... this just makes my life a lil easier. so far, so good.👍 😊

I absolutely loved these like seriously! So easy to use, and I love how it shows the temperature as it rises on the indicator. It straighten my hair out so nicely %26 with the barriers the designed on them it makes it super easy not to accidentally burn yourself. My daughter loves them so much I have to buy a extra one….Highly recommend

This straightening brush really straightens. I have very course hair and my hair is silky straight and soft. Hair gets super hot to the touch. It works!

I returned this for the newer version and wow I regretted that decision! I repurchased it! It was so good and much better and than the new version! IMO

This brush is my favorite of all of my hair equipment. And I have so many different kinds and different brands, but this TYMO is amazing. I'm getting ready to order me another one .

I would have given a five star because I love how it works. I have really thick hair and it has my hair bone straight. Like I went to a salon and got my hair done. I've had the straightening brush literally for a couple of weeks used it twice and was never able to turn it back on. I'm not sure if it has a shortage of some sort but it kind of sucks because like I said the two times I've used it absolutely loved it. That is the only reason it did not get the five stars. I need a replacement ASAP.

I bought this item six months ago, it worked great, easy to use, reached the advertised temperatures but then it stopped working. While it worked, I used it once a week. I reached out to TYMO because the item is still under its 12-month warranty. TYMO referred me to Walmart. Went to Walmart who referred me to TYMO, was referred back to Walmart and the final response" I have checked the details for you, I can see that This item is not eligible for refund or replacement because the return window closed on June 30, 2025". Conclusion, this is a poorly manufactured product that can only last a few months I know now not to buy any products from this company and disappointed in Walmart selling poor quality products.
