I have long, straight, smooth hair. My hair does not like to hold a curl. I love this wave iron. It's really easy to use, but be careful when you're near your scalp or you'll think you're back in the '80s. I didn't section off my hair very well, nor did I use small enough sections, so if I did it properly, I think my hair would probably be twice as wavy and full. This photo is from the first time I used it, and I did that in about 15 minutes. I have a lot of hair and it's down past my waist.

Fantastic!!! I have been searching for a great waving iron and this is it. Great wavy look and no frizz in minimal time. It's a little heavy, but worth it.

I have fine %26 soft hair. I always have a problem with my curls/waves falling out. This worked great to have the deep waves for my hair. I also used a hair texturizing spray from Walmart as well, name: Hairitage. I gave it an overall four because if you don't make sure to open or release the handle all the way the 6 second timer does not reset.

Be cautious with leaving it on for the longer timer setting. It left my hair smelling burnt. I need a timer between the ones it allows but once I figured out the right timing it worked great. Curls easily last 3 days. Day 2 is best. Day one my thick hair is a bit two full. So if you have thin hair this will definitely give you volume.

I love the mermaid wavy hair look, I always have. I was so excited to try this hair tool. Unfortunately, while the tool itself is very pretty, it is not very good for what it is meant to do. Firstly, this waver is very heavy, clunky and makes it very difficult and hard to do your hair. I had not even finished one side of my head before I got too tired. Secondly, it doesn't make very good waves, and they do not stay in for as long as you would like them to no matter what products you use or using techniques to make those waves stay. My waves had fallen half out before I got to my ladies's ministry meeting. Thirdly, I burnt my hair with the tool. I used the setting the booklet suggested. I have fine but thick hair and although I have naturally wavy hair, my hair does not like to hold curls or waves very well. I ended up losing about 5 inches of my hair due to it being burnt off and a lot of the fullness my hair had before using the tool. I had to go to my local salon to have a lot of that cleaned up. In conclusion, the Tymo Rovy Waver is not a good buy. While the tool itself is very pretty it does not do what it was supposed to do, it is very heavy and difficult to use, and if those waves aren't going to stay and if it's just gonna burn off your hair, it's not worth a single penny. Let alone the money you're gonna have to spend to have a hairstylist clean up your hair. I spent $114 having my local hairstylist clean up the mess I made. So no I wouldn't recommend this product.

I saw someone online rave about it and wanted to give it a try. It didn't work at all. I tried several different ways and it just wouldn't work. So frustrating. It is also heavier than anticipated as well. I'll be retuning this item. So disappointed.

It was smoking it smelt like burnt hair, even after I walked around for a little while I thought I could smell my burnt hair so I do not recommend this product. It would curl some sections very nicely, but then some sections would look all weird and straight looking.
