Type S License Plate Backup Camera

Very easy install. Took longer to take out of the box than to install

This rear-view camera is fantastic for showing the back-up view while you are in reverse in your car. It looks really good on my stereo display and helps me avoid incidents as I am backing up. Installation was not too difficult, it's not a difficult job, the instruction menu was easy to understand. If you don't have any experience with doing this, though, you would be better off going to a professional installer who can do it and only have it take an hour or 2 to get the whole thing done. I would definitely buy this product again and have no problem recommending it to someone who doesn't have a rear-view camera on their car. It is worth every penny to avoid getting into a backing-up accident!

I finally have a backup camera on my 2010 GLK. The picture is awesome and it does really help backing out of those retail parking spots. My only niggle is the time it takes to launch the app, select the camera from the multiple options and join the camera. It's ok if you are already parked and trying to back out but trying to parallel park with traffic behind you, it can take too long. I wish there was a "one tap" launch and join feature. Again, for the price, I'm just happy to finally be able see behind my GLK.

The instructions were a bit confusing / difficult to follow in pairing with a smart device, but after 3 attempts it was accomplished and seems to be working as advertised. One just needs to plan ahead about 15 seconds prior to actually needing the backup view. Otherwise the view is clear. I had to be 'creative' with the mounting as the vehicle has a huge tire in the middle of the back (license plate is offset).

Camera view clear but update rate slow. Siri will open app but takes three menu button pushes and ten seconds to activate camera view. Installation super easy. Car sat in dark garage for a week and battery stayed fully charged. I am happy with this product

The item looks great, easy to install and no need to mess with wiring. My only issue is the Bluetooth connection being inconsistent.

The connection between the camera and my iPhone was good. But many problems make it not safe, or convenient, to use: - it took much too long to connect the iPhone and camera. Who wants to wait three minutes to back up - at least 50% of the time I received a “+++ cannot join, try again” - it needs wide-angle capability

I like that I now have a backup camera in my minivan, but I find I am not using it that much because I normally back out of my long driveway, but by the time the phone is mounted, and the camera is synched, I am half way down my drive. I am playing with it, and my wife and I attempted to hook up an old phone with your app, and just keep it in place. I will continue to play with it. Other than that it installed well.

Set up is good very easy,but the quality of video not to good also video lags, at night poor video quality no infrared, i suggest you spend little more and get better system or a wire system is better..overall i do not recommend!

The monitor broke too easily!
