I looked for backup cameras for a Saturn Vue. The issue is the license plate is really close to the rear hatch button. This worked great as the camera is offset, most are right in the center. Being solar and wireless, this worked perfectly! This took about 5 minutes to get up and running.

I bought a Type S backup camera for our car after a protracted series of failures and factory warranty replacements of a competitor's product. My Type S camera has worked flawlessly since installing. I bought a second one for our other car to replace the factory backup camera system, which has failed. The auto brightness adjustment brings the displayed brightness into the best viewing level and the video quality is sharp. It has excellent low light sensitivity at night. I like the wide angle view and the wide format display. It is nice not to have to find the on button to activate, just wave you hand in front of the screen. I live in the Pacific NW and winters can get cloudy and nights long. Even so, the camera has never run out of battery capacity. Great product.

Seem to be working just fine. Have it on my truck. Question? Will it work if I put it on my camp trailer. My trailer is 28 feet long. Add another 9-10 feet with the truck attached and you are talking somewhere between 36 to 38 feet from camera to monitor. Is that to far for it to work properly?
