I love these. They’re perfect for a single person- Multiple meals on the cheap. The best way to cook one of these is to coat it generously in avocado oil, add garlic %26 herb and lemon pepper seasoning, then roast at 375 for 2 hours. Once done, don’t throw away the juice!! Use it to make gravy. Start off by melting butter, add some flour, then add your juices and some chicken broth made by putting three bullion cubes into two cups of hot water. Serve with some knorr noodles or mashed potatoes, and a salad or some roasted broccoli.

This Was An Amazing Chicken.It Was The Size Of A Large Hen. I Seasoned IT And Put It In A Roaster Right Away. That Was The Best Roast Chicken Ever. I Highly Recommend Buying This Tyson Chicken, We Have Lefters For Sandwiches Or A Snack. It Would Be Great For A Holiday Dinner Party..Thank You Walmart For Providing The Best For Your Customers.

I’m happy we can get whole, fresh chickens, cleaned and ready to go. I grew up with chickens and it’s a really big job to prep a whole chicken. Of course we can buy them further portioned, but there’s something about cooking a whole chicken at home that makes me feel like a chef lol! These are always very tasty! I like to cook one along with a turkey during Thanksgiving.

if you're going to buy a whole chicken, why not make itTyson? This chicken is flavorful, delicious and is perfect for soups, dressings, baking and frying. I feel like I'm eating healthy when I'm eating this chicken and my mind is at ease that it's free if antibiotics.

My issue is with the size the shopper chooses for delivery. I am the only one in my household and just need a small to medium size chicken. Today and previous deliveries have included a huge chicken. It will take 21/2 hours to cook at 375 degrees and would feed a family of six. I wish Walmart would include a way to communicate with my shopper like Instacart has.

I do not like Tyson chicken! Tyson does not care what quality of product they put out. Tyson chicken always looks nasty and still has feathers and quills left on their chicken. Where is their quality control? Seems like Tyson has zero quality control! Walmart PLEASE bring back Sanderson Farm chicken!!!!!!!

if i wanted to pluck chickens Ii would raise my own. feathers all over chicken it actually makes me sick to my stomach threw it away it was discusting

For my order on Jan 22. I got the chicken dated to use or freeze by Jan 20. Please do check the expiry date before sending. I hope this won’t repeat again.

Four of the last five times I've bought the Tyson whole chicken, I've had to pluck it myself! When I buy a chicken from a store I expect it to be fully cleaned and plucked! I am furious!

This is the third time buying Tysons chicken and all three times the taste was less than desirable. I don’t know how to describe it, to me it was tasteless not the chicken flavor I am use to…
