These little birds are perfect for 1 or 2 persons... my husband %26 I split one and have a good meal. These hens are a staple in our freezer as they are well packaged, never freezer burned, taste consistently good and are a decently priced meat. Been enjoying em for many years.
I'm single male %26 disabled and always bought full size chickens for Rotisserie, is good but hard to handle and a lot of waste, shelf life is only so long in fridge so I gave these a try and they cooked so perfectly in air fryer rotisserie I was floored! Cook one and freeze one, they're perfect size for one person with only bones left lol but can also stretch to 2 servings for later Cornish hen salad or Cornish hen toasted sandwich. Great taste, NO waste and easily rotisseried, baked or pan fried!
The only thing I can say about this two pack Cornish hens is that they can be purchased at a lower price if you would bring back the single Cornish hens when you purchase them individually they are $3.93.each. when you have us purchase this product in the two pack they're $10 some sense Well that means we are purchasing them for almost $2 more and I really don't like that I love the individually packages of cornished hens I buy them several times during the month and I purchased them every single month when I get my social security check and the last three times I have ordered them which is very recent they were out of stock so please bring those back because I really enjoy them and they help social security recipients since we don't get a lot of money I use my over the counter from insurance card to supplement my normal pay or I could not pay for food
These Tyson Cornish Hens are my goto when a small bird is needed. Flavorful, easy to bake, grill or fry. When I’ve bake for a small meal, I quarter and wrap individually for future use. For a good salad the meat can be chopped or shredded, and for chicken tacos shredding is a snap.
I have been buying Tyson Cornish hen for 15 years and they are the greatest although the price has gone up a bit which keeps me from buying them so very often! I am buying them for Thanksgiving Day! Just keep more sell with the 2 Pack around holidays!
I don't particularly care for the flavor of turkey, so last year I decided to have these for Thanksgiving. These little birds were cooked in a roasting bag with the dressing and turned out beautifully. We could each have a whole bird or a half, depending on our appetite, and everyone was well pleased with the texture and flavor of these little birds.
OK, everything that I have purchased at Walmart is great. The product is great. The ice cream is great and also I love the Cornish hands. They are great everything that I have seen on this website. Everything that I have purchased everything was great and the taste is awesome thank you Walmart. I love your store.
This was a good price for two in the package, but the meat looked bruised and there were a lot of feathers. My dinner was late due to having to spend an extra 30 minutes trying to remove all the feathers. I don't think I will be buying this again.
We love Cornish Hens and I cook them quite a bit. Unfortunately, this time they didn't taste normal and just had a foul taste. They were fresh and just delivered the day before. I reported to Wal-Mart and they wanted me to bring them back. After the packaging had been thrown away. The hens were cooked. They were already tossed in the trash and they wouldn't replace them unless it was returned. I'll buy them from my original place next time. If there is ever a Next time I'll take the whole trash bag to them and they can dig through it.
they were delivered 60% thawed out so I couldn't put them in the freezer I wasn't ready to cook them till the weekend had to cook them early it was just a big waste of time waste of food they should arrive frozen like you're supposed to be The ribs as well unless specifically ask for thawed
