These Buffalo chicken strips from Tyson are surprisingly good and in my opinion they aren't spicy enough for me but everyone is different with spicy if these aren't spicy enough you can always add some sauce and the price could be cheaper but if you went to a grocery store it would probably cost more than buying it from Walmart I would recommend this to anyone who likes spicy
I am addicted to these things....however, it does seem that they changed their recipe a little, because they don't taste the same as they used to be...but I still LOVE them with some Ranch Dressing....
5 Stars for Flavor. 4 Stars bc some pieces of chicken are not quite chewable. I do not like these in the oven. They taste different if you bake them. I always microwave them. After Covid of course they have much more breading than chicken. But are still the best I have found thus far.
can only give it 4 stars! the Buffalo sauce they put on these chickens is mid! when your done cooking them in the over or air fryer. you have to get a bowl a toss them in your own sauce. i usually use franks red hot or some type of Buffalo sauce then they slap! they need more Buffalo sauce coated on them.
I made the unfortunate mistake of buying two bags of these before I knew what they tasted like, and let me tell you, I regret it. Upon opening the bag, you're hit with an awful stench which, if you didn't lose your appetite right there on the spot, you'll lose it once you take your first bite. I've given these strips several chances and they've all turned out the same: Foul tasting at worst and rubbery tasting at best. As someone who loves chicken and spicy things, you'd think this would be the best of both worlds, but the taste, mixed with the smell, makes some of the absolute worst chicken I've ever consumed in my life. If you've bought these strips before and loved them, great, but if you're looking for something new to try? Stay far away from these. I'll also be steering clear away from Tyson products from now on if at all possible. These strips are truly disgusting.
Why would our shopper substitute our Tyson Southern Breaded Boneless Chicken with Tyson Buffalo Chicken Strips we can't eat. I'm sure there were other NonSpicy options available. I will say we get deliveries almost weekly and this is the first time we've been dissatisfied.
They are horrible because part of it you can chew %26 parts of it is hard %26 stringy as if it is freezer burnt. I was hoping it was just those first 2 pieces, but NOPE the next 2 pieces I cooked was the exact same. I hadn't bought these in quite a while, but they use to be really good. Quality has gone down. ALSO, put a little more in the bag... geeesh! I would've given 0 stars for texture if i could have. I finally have time off to contact Tyson customer service directly to see what they say about it.
I bought these to make for my son and his gf and they were HORRIBLE! They couldn’t even eat one! They were rubbery and the smell was awful. I had taken a bite and now I’m sick to my stomach. I won’t buy ANY Tyson chicken again! Thanks Walmart for allowing me to get a refund.
I wanted to like these, but the texture was so bad. They are too mushy and taste extremely processed and fake. The buffalo flavor isn't great either. If they were smaller with less meat and more breading that was actually crunchy, they would probably taste better. I will not be buying these again.
I was SO looking forward to this...ha wanted some for awhile... I hovered around the oven waiting like a kid on Christmas.....Took that first bite and ...NO...just "NO"....I got the bag out and thought I had made some mistake in ordering, but, it was "Buffalo" wings. Had an OFF smell ...like "sour", but the taste was "spit it out. That has gone bad"....It as not edible. I cooked the rest of the bag up and put it out for the possums and racoons and stray cats...and next morning it had been nibbled at a tiny bit but left behind....that makes me sure it had gone bad along the line. Too much money for me to waste, so, I would not recommend.
