Excellent Chicken Bites (nuggets) with the perfect amount of breading! Way better than regular Tyson Chicken nuggets in taste and chicken to breading ratio. I would definitely suggest buying these. I personally have bought these multiple times!
This is thee best chicken that Tyson has ever come out with. the amount of breading on the chicken is absolutely perfect esp if you have sensitive teeth!! and then i douse it with Kens Honey Mustartd and go to town!!! 100/10***!! I jist wish either it was a little cheaper a bag OR more came in the bag... !!!! im literally turning into a piece of Tysons lightly breaded chicken its crazy.!!!!
We love these chicken bites. We put them in the air fryer at 400 for 15 minutes (frozen) and they are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. There aren't any weird bits in the meat, and the carb count is much lower than other brands. This is a staple in our meal plan. I enjoy putting the ranch sour cream over the top for additional flavor.
They have too much breading. The breading made up for the weight of the item. Therefore causing not as much chicken pieces as expected.
They weren't totally horrible, but they weren't that great. I feel there was a lot more fat and gristle than there should've been. Nothing is more gross than biting into a chicken bite and getting nothing but fat and gristle when you first bite in. There are better, chicken bites and chicken nuggets out there. With food as expensive as it is, what you get is not worth the money if you pay full price. I only tried it because it was a deal about two dollars less than usual. Choose carefully.
Okay I'll start by saying this product technically tastes good, but unfortunately that's because it's obscenely salty. By the time you get to a second piece of chicken you're like “whew I need water”. Since things like this are usually paired with other salty foods- it's just not good or healthy. I picked this up specifically because I thought it was going to be a healthier option. Not possible when it's a high blood pressure risk. It's just way too salty.
I've been searching for a new chicken bite since my “Just bare” brand changed their recipe, but these Tyson Lightly Breaded Chicken Bites are unfortunately not a good replacement. As someone who relies on chicken bites as a dietary staple, I found these to be very disappointing. Even my partner, who is usually not picky, compared the quality to "survival food." I would not even feed these to a dog. They would probably choke on the texture and the saltines. The texture was concerning, feeling almost like plastic rather than real chicken, and they were extremely salty. They also definitely did not live up to the "lightly breaded" label. I'm still on the hunt for a better alternative so I can maintain my protein intake, but these are not it.
These chicken bites taste really bad, like the chicken was marinated in something weird and sweet. My son won't eat them. I tried covering them in ranch dressing and I still do not like the taste at all. The regular crispy chicken bites are good, but not these. So Bad.
I hate that I pay almost ten dollars and the bag is nowhere close to halfway filled it's literally a row at the bottom of the bag I made some last night first time opening them made about 10-12 and there's a whole gap missing it's so empty and not a lot taken out at one time smh but they are really good I just don't like that the bag isn't even at least halfway filled with that price !!
They're not horrible until you end up biting into a tendon or rock hard connective tissue. It's disgusting at that point. Not even worth eating. Lost appetite.
