Amazing engineering to simplify the setup of the grill (or breakdown if ever needed (for a mover or so).
I bought the Ash Stacked Stone Island Grill 2 years ago and I still love it. I like the look of the grill and the stone matches the pavers on my patio. The grill is great for bone-in ribeyes and filets. I also cook pizza's on the grill too. The grill is easy to clean. The built in cooler is good for beer bottles. There are 4 shelves (2 on each side) that are great for storing utensils.
We moved to a place with a very small backyard and patio (from 2 acres!) and needed something that was easy to install, and didn't cost the amount of a custom outdoor kitchen build. This was the perfect solution. It took longer to unpackage than to set up, with the exception of the conversion - and we needed an extra part for that. However we were grilling that night (and the next night...), used the searing burner for a perfect steak, and Momma got a veggie burger with cheese. The way it's aligned in our yard you don't get to see the nice looking stone trim much (which matches our patio overlay nicely), but overall the look is perfect for our yard. It's solid and doesn't feel cheaply made like some. Note that since it sits in the sun we mostly keep it covered - you don't want to put your hand on the hot exterior metal when it's sitting in the sun!
I chose this grill because it is the perfect length for my space and is on wheels so I can move it around to different areas, depending on my party set-up. It doesn't have a bunch of extra features I will never use. I love having the countertop on either side of the grill and storage underneath for tools. It was pretty easy to assemble and looks fantastic - it gives the outdoor kitchen vibes, but is mobile!
We just received ours and I'm so excited about it. It snapped together so easy and fired right up. I've been shopping for a new one for a very long time and I'm so glad I waited and found this!
Bought this grill a few weeks ago. Set up took me about 30 minutes by myself. I think it only took that long because i am a directions hater and am one of those morons that think they Don't need them. I had to disassemble one peice After i missed a step because i THOUGHT i knew better! I have painfully put many many grills together over my life and i am blown away by the FORETHOUGHT put into this grill. Anyone, and I mean anyone can put this thing together with ease. The quality is very high and fit and finish stands out from anything else I have ever owned. Cooked on it last night and was equally satisfied. I can't RECOMMEND this grill enough. I Did have some QuestiOns about with NG conversion and was just as impressed with the level of customer service Tytus provided. I actually had a real person on the phone quickly that was not living in a foreign country and knew this grill inside out to answer my questions . This is UNHEARD of these days. A tRue American made company!
Easy to assemble for sure….maybe not “5 minutes”, but we knocked it out in 30 min. A few sharp edges had to be banged out/filed down, but overall great quality for the price.
Looks great! The main cooking chamber does a great job of searing the food. The searing burner is difficult to light. The main cooking chamber has a really hot spot in the back and is much cooler in the front. I would prefer more even heating. The grill grates are nice and thick and do a great job. The cabinets are not water tight and you can't leave anything in them that can't get wet. The rotisserie is disappointing because the motor mount prevents you from opening the cooler. The steel is a little thin and has sharp edges.
The assembly and design of the carts is really incredible. Would have rated the grill higher but there are notable, I mean seriously notable hot spots on the grate. Cooked my first set of steaks last night and the half toward the back were well done and the portion of the meat near the front were much rarer. I did the toast test and confirmed with a wireless thermometer and there is a 60-80 degree difference between front/back which makes it tough to get a consistent result/temp on the meat. The ignition on the side burner and the searing rotisserie burner are really tough to light. These are issues that need to be addressed.
One burner will not ignite after trying all resolutions that were offered by Caleb.
