I like that they pay attention to sustainability of their materials, as that is important to me, and list an FSC certification. The bamboo also looks nice, with a versatile neutral color and moveable components, and it is sturdy feeling, so if taken care of I hope it will last a long time and not need to be replaced. It definitely fulfills its function of keeping loose items contained and organized! I wish that even more was prioritized regarding sustainability - for example, eliminating the plastic cover and finding a more renewable alternative to keep the product clean and safe in transit. There is also room on the paper packaging for a bit more info about their approach to sustainability in the production of these items, as well as social responsibility and how healthy working conditions and fair pay are prioritized. It's nice to see references to sustainability and an FSC certification, but I like to see even more context and evidence for what these ethical matters look like across your supply chain and product lifecycle. And I'd love for you to share specifically how you are supporting the Kids In Need Foundation, not just that you are, to help me contextualize this impact. I want brands to know people's standards are higher than ever, and I am looking for specific details and evidence to support claims of both social and environmental responsibility, and companies that continue to look for ways to improve and change their industry standards for the better. I can see potential for this brand to meet that expectation in the future, and will be happy to consider their products again!
