I don't buy these things unless I get the 36 or more pad count. The smaller package has pads that have the wrapper glued, which are stiff and very uncomfortable. The glued wrapper is not the best for the disposal of the used product because it doesn't have a tape closure as the larger box has.
These pads are fantastic! I have a heavy and unpredictable flow and need both back and front coverage. This pad gives you that! I like to have the length during the day when I am busy and on the move. I have a busy job and like most women, have zero time for leaks. As an endometriosis sufferer, I cant always use tampons. I also work in a job where I am dressed up for work, and prior to finding these pads, was stuck having to wear the longest, thickest maxis on the market even during the day to have enough protection. That makes for some creative wardrobe hacks to try to cover the dreaded pad bulge. Not with these! They are long enough and give you coverage at front and back, but are thin and do not show through whatever you wear. They are super absorbent and can handle sudden gushes, have solid wings that keep the pad in place, but don't stick to your underwear leaving pieces behind like some other brands. These pads are great, and a game changer for many people!
I purchased these for my special needs daughter who just started her period. I just wish there was an even longer one than this one! These work very well in terms of absorption, and we loved how the back area of the pad has the lay flat tabs to hold the pad flat in place with a little wider coverage area. The problem seems to be that the length in the front is not enough coverage for her due to the way her little legs are shaped and the special underwear she uses. So, I have to add a mini pad to the front to give it a continuance so that there are no leaks overnight. If these pads had about 4-5 more inches in length, they would be perfect for special needs and those with super heavy periods. They do keep her dry and she was comfortable. Please think of the special needs or disabled community when developing future products! Thank you!
Ever since I've been using these pads I have slept so much better. At night while sleeping and just laying down in general,( hopefully this doesn't just happen to me lol) blood leaks down my butt while laying and I would usually end up having a blood stain in the back lol, but these pads prevent leaking when that happens.
These used to be my number one, go-to pad. They were perfect and then I guess the manufacturer decided to get cheap with the product due to inflation to save cost and became horrible. Now, they hardly stick to your underwear and keep moving. I've had to reposition them 5x's because they always wanted to shift while I was pulling my underwear up. I used to save the wrapper to wrap my old pad up in to trash it before Kotex decided to be cheap and changed to a thin flimsy packaging. Now when you open them, the wrapper just gets demolished bc the seal tore everything up. I have to find a new company new bc this is the pits
I've been rather upset since Kotex chaenged there pads. I noticed the box changed, and they claimed that was the change, but the pads are not the same. The last style of pads with the bright color wrapping were so much better and I loved them, they were my favorite pad. The older pads were more comfortable and worked way better, never had to worry! I don't understand why they would change their product when the last one worked so well.
I have extremely heavy flows and normally have to wear 2 pads to make one long pad that would support me fully. So, I purchased these "new and improved" pads and they were horrible for me. First off, these pads are so paper thin I thought Kotex was joking. The older ones were so much better by far. I tried the longest one they had for extra heavy flow and yeah I soaked right through them and had quite of bit of leakage. And even the longest one wasn't long enough to wear just one. Embarrassingly enough luckily I was home to test them out and this is a BIG NO for me! I bought the overnight ones and the regular ones just trying to get creative when building my one pad. I don't know why Kotex had to change when I finally found something that worked for me. I understand being trendy but do pads have to be so trendy to make them paper thin? These are not as wide as they advertise and I'm so disappointed. Either a man had to design these or a 90 lb woman who don't experience extremely heavy flow and clots. Now it's time to change brands! Very disappointed these are straight up garbage! Just throw the entire design away and bring back the older ones with wings!
My flow has gotten extremely heavy over the past few years. Some nights I “sleep” on the sofa sitting up. I have been desperate to find anything that will get me through the night and also my heaviest days at work. I opened these up and thought I needed a manual to put them on. Lol. I tried the first one, just to wear around the house... right away I leaked. I hadn't even leaked with the thin “heavy” Kotex during this time of month. The way these are shaped makes no sense. The normal wings are there, then instead of gradually getting larger as the pad goes towards your bottom, it almost gets thinner, then all of a sudden bigger where the “butt” wings are? Someone at Kotex needs to buy some good ol' cotton undies and put the pad in them to see where more pad is needed. I also tried to readjust the next time, so the back is almost touching the waistline of my underwear. I then started making a swish/crunch noise as I walked. Lol. I'm mad I paid $12 for these. Thinking about it, I think the main wings just aren't wide enough?
How many more of these recent reviews, of women upset that you changed the perfect pad, do you need to realize you've made a huge mistake? I am yet another loyal customer that is dissatisfied with the “updated” pad. I have all the exact same complaints everyone else has. Your generic “We're sad to hear about your experience, please reach out to us…” read insincere and dismissive. WE ARE REACHING OUT TO YOU in these reviews. We've explained what the problem is. We need the old style back. That's what everyone is saying, that's what everyone wants & that's what it's going to take to satisfy and regain your customers.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am truly upset that you guys changed the product this was the perfect pad for me that I've used for about 2 years and why make it super thin? It's suppose to be for sleeping no one is gonna see I'm afraid of leaking every night and it's so thin that it is cheap. Now I have to struggle to find a different product that doesn't give me anxiety about leaking and waking up upset. Wish you never changed them they were perfect the way they were. My advice is making a product just like it was before you changed it to this one because we can stay happy helping your business by continuing to buy your products it sucks being a woman and seeing a product you NEED change for the worse and having to find a better product.
