Ah yes, A useful piece of wood in hand, very fine indeed. These wood spoons are decently sized to fit smaller, medium or a bit larger hand size.and the cut makes spoons utility versatile to numerous likely uses. Like as a eating spoon, a scooping spoon, a ladling spoon, even dipping as if in a near by brook of water. Along with all products from Uber laden this is a good pick to have on hand and yes that is literal

On a camping trip, my best friend admired my Lore Kuksa, so I bought him the Lore as well as the Kanu Spoon as a Christmas gift. There's never a better review than to buy one for someone else. I'll probably buy one for me, too. It appears to be just the right size to use with either the 8 or 12oz Kuksas.

And when I mean camp cooking, I keep it pretty simple. I bought the lightweight portable grate for my campfire, a small 9" Wok and that's my camp cooking utensils. This spoon works great with the small wok. It doesn't take up alot of space in my kit, and works great when cooking in the wok. When camping, I try to use the KISS principal. Keep It Simple Stupid. And this spoon fits in perfectly. The strap helps to keep it from getting lost. I just hang it on a hook on my folding chair. I cannot wait for Spring to get out camping again!

It's nice to see a return to elemental tools. You won't burn your mouth on this spoon- only its contents. Interestingly, wood has the ability to pull water out of suspension and dry whatever is on it. This applies to bacteria which generally needs water to survive (that's one reason wooden cutting boards are actually safer than plastic.) It doesn't mean you don't have to clean it, but residual bacteria have a harder time growing to any significant degree.

Tried it for the first time last week, I love it with one exception, the outside edge of the spoon has sharp edges which, didn't cut my mouth, but it was enough to be uncomfortable. My suggestion would be to lightly round this edge over with light sanding as the item makes its way down the line during manufacturing

It is exactly as I expected size and use wise. I was surprised at how light this spoon is. It's a great backpacking utensil and is fairly easy to clean (depending on the food you eat). The handle is narrow and isn't always comfortable when eating heavier foods like chili or stew, but only a minor gripe. It's a worthy replacement to plastic and metal utensils.

Uberleben's wooden cup and a spoon are now such a part of my life! I love them and they are part of my family. I can't tell you how many people and stop and ask me where did you get those. They go everywhere with me. My other cups are jealous as they sit so pretty in my cabinet while my cup is proudly displayed always. The cup and spoon are a perfect combination and both always displayed. They are new additions to my family. "All in life that matters is family." Thank you for these products. They have made such a difference in my life and a part of many of my daily routines, even eating pistachios at night. Lol Great products and great company!

easy to eat out of and cleans easily. Handle could maybe be a lad longer, but that's not a problem just a personal quirk. Does _not_ have a 'woody' taste like Popsicle sticks (common query from friends).Good for camp or home and highly recommended for your BOB.

This is without a doubt one of the greatest spoon I have ever used. I have only had it a couple days but have used it for everything. It's gone with me camping I eat with it every night its perfect for stirring in small containers. I have already ordered 4 more. Its perfect. Its great in your pack or at home.... any place.

I love my new Kuska and Kanu spoon! I use them nearly every day for coffee and for soup for lunch. They are compact enough to carry in my EDC bag so I tote them everywhere. I love the way the wood warms with the content and I think my coffee taste better because it allows for different flavors in the coffee to come out. I love my so much I just purchased one for my oldest son for his birthday! My only suggestion would be to make sure you include in every purchase a Uberleben sticker as that was a little disappointing not to get one with my last order since my son and I are sticker hounds. Thanks for a great product! We will be ordering more great kit in the future!
