I'm very pleased with this laptop desk, and got it at a good price. It's much sturdier than the 2 previous ones I've owned (one of which was OK until "catastrophic failure" of one of the joints). I suggest making the angles of the legs as small as possible when you set it up, since smaller angles puts less pressure on the joints.
Like the sturdiness and overall. What could have been better - 1. Manual (Not able to use the extra attachments came along) 2. Heavy bottom legs 3. Mouse pad does not much space to swivel around.
It's the best type of laptop tray for using in bed that I've found. Being able to set it at any angle and put the legs any which way is great! It's not sitting directly on something that gets too warm like beanbag type filling, your bedding or blanket and has holes to keep it from overheating. I haven't been able to put the mouse tray in any position where it's not hindered by the angle of the legs though. So, it's at an angle instead of flat and the mouse slides off. A bonus: you can set it so your lapcat can still sit on your lap but it's high enough to fit over! LOL! No kitty trying to push its way onto the keyboard!
They are good. I had bought another laptop recently and it developed a problem. It would not start. I called them and a replacement was sent within the week
It's a good desk just that it came with a cracked leg
It's just ok, I thought i might be a light metal but it's plastic and not super sturdy. Not what I was looking for.
wrestled with the thing for a half hour before I could even get it in position to where my computer would not fall over and it was somewhat ergonomic. and then I realized that I needed it to telescope and raise so I could work on it. standing and that's when I realized that I'm not taking jujitsu classes anymore for a reason - I'm too old to wrestle.
Not amenable to constant disassembly for storage. excellent if once assembled the setup is not changed. Sturdy construction but very difficult to setup all the different angles to match how it is to be used. Markers that indicate angles are difficult to use. Collapsing legs takes a specific order of disassembly otherwise each leg blocks the other. Not a product to be used if it is going to be collapsed and stored on a regular basis. If it is meant to be setup once and used in place it is actually a very good product. Just didn't work in my application.
my laptop broke it and was constantly falling off. leg gave out amd was rendered more useless than before.
This is a cheap piece of crap!!! You have to try and figure out how to adjust the multiple adjustable legs and when you put your laptop on it it falls. You have to try and play balancing act so the laptop doesn't fall and then it's not in a comfortable position. You either use something else to keep it from falling over or over don't move or touch the laptop.
