Shakespeare Ugly Stik Catfish Rods
The Shakespeare Ugly Stik Catfish Rods are very very well built. The guides are great with both 4 strand and 8 strand Braided line. Nice backbone, and because they are white, easier to see at night. We drift for big blues, and at time hook large Alligator and Needle Nose Gar. Action is fast/medium, allowing us t see strikes from 3-40 lb Blue Catfish

Good value catfish rod
This Ugly Stik Catfish rod is a great, durable rod choice for catfishing. Excellent tapper and sensitivity for channel cats and some larger species. I just can't understand purchasing this for larger species when you can buy a 7'6" Rippin Lips casting rod online for just $40.

Bad butt design.
Nice rod for the most part, has one big drawback, the butt has fancy flare so it will not fit in rod holders.
