I love this luggage. Carry on size (unexpanded) for airplanes, converts to a back pack so I can walk several miles, can be wheeled if the trek is of shorter distance, back pack shoulder straps tuck neatly into a zipped compartment so it can be luggage checked safely. It doesn't really have a hip belt, the belt is more of an upper chest support but I'm going to add Velcro to the tightening ends of the backpack shoulder straps to make a lower chest/upper abdomen tightening option. It's expandable so when I do check it I can unzip the expandable portion and put my small backpack in it. I won't use the charging port as battery packs are too heavy for my planned trip plus the airlines won't accept battery packs in checked luggage. There are a cpl things I will change to make it a tad lighter to carry but all in all it is a wonderful purchase. Plenty of pockets, zipped areas, will fit cell and tablet safely in a zipped compartment that will be cradled against your back while using it as back pack.
looks like quality materials, and love the handle the way it goes down inside itself no worries about over stuffing bag and handle binds up try to push it down, love the multiple ways to use it, suitcase, backpack or on it's wheels, going to put it to use soon on trip but after inspection of bag all looks well made
Good looking bag. Great value with the included packing cubes. I will use it for a 7 day trip as I am a “light” packer. I saw the same bag, with a different brand name, on Amazon for $20 more. It is the exact bag just different name
Took it to the trip to Europe. Like the small size that fits to EU planes. Side straps can make the bag smaller. Only they would make it little lighter.
This was best investment I have made. As getting older back difficulty this fit with everything I need and very light. It accommodates everything I need. Great job!!
Very well build backpack for a very good price. Spacious and has alot of pockets. The wheels are smooth.
I was surprised as the room in this bag and the ease of using the wheels. And it fits under the seat of the airplane!
I expected the wheel handle to be flimsier but seems sturdy. Haven't put bag in use yet. The side clips seem unnecessary but I shoved them into the backpack strap clip and they are out of the way. A closure strap on the front that is lower would be better but I make it work. I wish I could remove the laptop padding because it uses a little space and I wouldn't be putting my computer in this. It is definitely for the overhead bin, not your "personal item" on a plane. Delighted to have found a backpack style for the crazy streets of Europe, and elsewhere where wheels are not ideal. P.S. Europeans are beginning to loathe the constant noise of bags being dragged around their towns by visitors.
Does not count as a personal item as it doesn't fit under the seat in front of you in a flight. Tested on USA Airlines. I had to hide it with a sweater and laptop between my legs(barely fits there too). It's still a very cool backpack/suitcase for the price with a lot of space.
The backpack that I received is nothing like the one shown in the photograph. While the material quality is decent, the ergonomics is not correct for me. And for that reason it will be sent back. I also question the quality of the handle, as it seems very flimsy. I also felt the pack had limited space because it was rounded on the top, instead of rectangular as in the photos. This certainly may be right for someone, but not for me.
