I read reviews before I purchased, but figured I'd try. I have a fairly new hybrid mattress on a metal frame that was borderline as far as proper slat spacing for support. I have a king size and was able to get these installed without having to fully remove the mattress, just a little creative shifting. I could tell the difference in support the first night! I'm pleased and I think it will extend the life of my new mattress
These boards helped me sleep better by supporting my back. Before i used these, my bed caused me pain and affected my sleep. They are lightweight and sturdy.
I needed something to make my thin mattress more steady on the straps of my bed. And this works perfectly.
We were considering buying plywood as a mattress support for our new mattress. The bunkie board is better. Lightweight with velcro straps to attach to the bed frame and enough friction to prevent mattress slip. It costs more than plywood but worth it. Also, when I looked at my old boxspring I saw where the mattress was not supported between the slats. Bunkie board solves this problem.
I bought the full size one and it is not 54 inches. Disappointing, but other than that it is what it's advertised. I would say it's more so like 51 inches maybe a little less.
They made this too small for a full-size bed. It moves a lot even when you put the little lock things on it little Velcro things it still moves. The support is good, but he don't stay in place.
Well I cant give a full review as far as support, etc, but it seems to do the job. The only real issue I have is that I ordered a queen size but it is smaller than a queen size mattress/bedframe, so time will tell if it does what it is supposed to.
While it does provide the support advertised, it also allows for your mattress to slide quite easily. The Velcro attachment ( to secure it to the bed frame) ripped off the board. I removed it from under my mattress after having to adjust the mattress daily. I wasted my money on this purchase.
it doesn't support mattress and not strong enough, actually too small for my Queen bed, which I ordered a queen size
the mattress will not stop sliding on the fabric on top of the Bunkie board which is not a non-skid fabric that has to be put back into correct position every morning
