So happy I found this product!! it was the perfect ingredient, for my strawberry lemonade cookies! the size of pieces are similar to mini chocolate chips. and pack so much strawberry flavor. Because they are dehydrated, any moisture can make them clump together, (give the jug a little shake and they seperate) so be sure to keep them in a cool place place with lid on tight. will definitely be ordering again.
I was buying dried apples. Instead of different sizes, there were different flavors, including longan fruits and strawberries. I had never heard of longan fruits, and I like dried strawberries, so I added both to my cart. I like the dried strawberries, but I can't say that I am a fan of the longan fruit.
Absolutely delicious and perfect for baking apple tarts (although pretty darned good right out of container too). Will definitely purchase again.
This is extremely pricey (6.5 oz jar costs ~ 8-10x as much as fresh strawberries). But freeze drying means they'll keep longer %26 not require refrigeration if kept in cool, dry place. They come in an attractive, wide-mouth reuseable glass jar with the pieces inside also packaged in a small plastic bag to help keep 'em moisture tight. Unfortunately they DON'T look like the bright red picture in the ad, so are not suitable for snacking by the handful. The ones I got were completely crumbled and more powdery--and brown! When mixed into oatmeal or sprinkled on yogurt they absorbed enough moisture to reclaim their strawberry taste, but looked more like bacon bits floating on the surface. Not very appetizing as culinary decor. In the future I may consider buying my own dehydrator so to have more versatility.

Not as pictured. Berry pieces are and off color brownish rust. Packaging doesn't look good I'm guessing it's not air tight based on the level of oxidation.
Not what I expected when they say pieces they mean pieces. Small pieces very dissatisfied in product can't actually tell if freeze dried or just dehydrated
These are dried but not well. They're hard and chewy not crunchy at all and not gummy in a good way. They're hard are Little Rock's that if you try to chew them they glue themselves into your teeth. The flavor is off completely as well. No strawberry flavor at all. I use freeze dried strawberries on cottage cheese in the morning for a little keto breakfast. These are terrible.
These come in a bag inside the container. I guess this is to keep them fresh. Unfortunately, they really have very little flavor. I usually love dehydrated strawberries but these barely taste like strawberry and look like bacon bits. It's just really disappointing.
There is glass in my product. When I first opened it, I noticed it was all clumped together, so I knew it probably was not freeze dried long enough or the seal had broken. Then, I got a spoon and stuck a spoonful in my mouth. Immediately, I noticed the strawberries were gummy. The next thing that happened was a hard crunch that hurt my teeth. I spit out strawberries and glass. I taped a piece of glass to the top of the lid and wrote “Do not eat” on it. This just happened today, 10/26/25. I am not throwing it away in case what I swallowed does any damage. If I wake up dead tomorrow, y'all have them examine these. They're on my kitchen counter.
