Ultimate 2-Speed Compact 12VDC Fan

Easy to install, I bought 3 to replace burned out fans on my boat. Wire ends do not have terminals, so I used heat shrink butt splicers to attach to original wiring. Dual speed, blade won't cut your hand if accidently touched. I would buy them again.

This fan is probably one of the best 12v fans as far as longevity. Over the past five years I have bought probably 30 fans for our boat. Most last 6 mos to a year. It is easy to clean because there is not cage. However, there is not cage so it does hurt a little if the blades hit you, but not bad. That is the pros. The cons are, they do not offer boxed clip mount version. You have to buy this version and then pay extra to get a clip on mount (to clip to sun visor or table..etc). The clip mount is a very popular version and would be easy to offer as an alternative choice. The fan is way too expensive for what it is. I paid $70 for the fan and $16 for a clip-on mount. I do not mind paying extra for a quality product and would happily pay to have a fan that lasts but $86 is too much. I just do not see $70 of materials and workmanship in this fan. It might be a good fan but not worth the hassle of the blades hitting me or the price.
