This is a gift and the second one that I've purchased. These have great sound and long battery life.

I did a bunch of research before purchasing a outdoor bluetooth speaker. I chose this one because it's sound, performance and specs were some of the best in the industry. My girlfriend and I were not let down! She purchased the smaller Boom3. I would go Boom3 if you want a lighter smaller unit. If you dont mind the size difference, I would absolutely buy the Megaboom3. The sound bumps and fill the yard. It's truly awesome.

I got this speaker to have on my boat and around the house. It works better than expected. The tone and sound is a LOT better than I expected. When we set side-by-side to a different brand, it was TOTALLY better. I'm impressed that it's waterproof and floats. WELL worth the money.

Love the speaker, the sound, and even the look (although because of the look I got it cheaper)! I wish the charging dock was also included (as Costco had it), but other than that, great speaker and super great response and delivery timing. Thank you!

Was told it had a speakerphone function, but it doesn't. Other than that, the speaker sounded very good and was great outside. Only thing is the bass wasn't exactly jaw dropping. Jbl charge 4 has a warmer, deeper bass. Although imo, not as loud.

I took a chance and purchased one for the first time. What a HUGE mistake that was. This did not work directly out of the box. It's an expensive item to not work. All it did was say critical battery error. Even when it was put on the charger the same thing and then it shuts itself off. Left it to charge a few hours and same results! I'm returning to my local Walmart and I won't purchase another one. Quality is important and for something like this to not work - shame on them!

I bought this because it is highly rated and had excellent reviews. I found it for half price because of the color (who cares) and thought I was getting an excellent deal. shipping was fast and the packaging was neat. Directions were simple to follow to get it up and running. took it outside after fully charging, and used it to listen to music while I BBQed. Everything worked great and I was absolutely pleased. Fast forward 2 weeks later, I charge it up to 100 and take it outside again to listen to music while I BBQed. I noticed right off the bat that it sounded different. The speaker just rattles. I messed with the equalizer hoping maybe something had been changed and could easily be fixed but this wasn't the case. The speaker is no good. I've been around long enough o know when a speaker isn't working properly and this one isn't. Unfortunately I threw away the packaging so I don't think I can return it. I'll look into getting it fixed but this is a brand new speaker, I shouldn't have to. I took a chance buying something that was heavily discounted and now I know why. I feel like I was purposfully sold a defective product.

Unless the item I received was faulty in some way, this is the lousiest sound quality I have experienced for the price. The max volume is low and the sound doesn't carry outside, low bass, mid-tones and vocal cracking up if you increase the volume beyond 50%. The app equalizer acts weird: When increasing bass, the low frequencies don't increase, but the treble gets reduced! I had great expectations after reading reviews and listening to (demo) music in stores before purchasing. But sorry, there's no "boom" or "mega boom" about this product at all! Returning for a full refund.
