First of all it arrived fast and is well worth the price. I get told almost every time I'm jammin cruisin on my EBike how good it sounds … and … it's even got me warnings from apartment complex management that it be nice if I turned it down. It's loud. Crystal clear too

Bought this for my son for his birthday. He loves it! He owned a previous version but it was stolen and he wanted to replace it with the same. He uses it at chess club at his university in a public space and it works well!

I like to move it, move it. I like to groove it, groove it. I'm big on shmoove it, shmoove it. The WONDERBOOM 4 brings the noise, boom-boom. It's a good radio replacement until I figure out how to install my car radio.

This item was given to my daughter as a gift for Christmas. She was very excited to receive it. She started using it right away. This her second Wonderboom!

Great sound and volume for its size. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because it periodically (at most once every 15 minutes) disconnects from bluetooth for a brief second. Noticeable, but not intolerable issue. The rest of the speaker's capabilities make up for it.

It sounds like they've turned up the lowest frequencies this can produce to compensate for the fact that this doesn't produce low bass. This causes the vocals to sound blown out since there aren't separate woofers and tweeters. You can't adjust that, so you're left with something that sounds really strange, with no low bass, too much of the high bass, and everything else is distorted. These are small, and I don't expect them to produce bass; I'd rather have something that did everything else well instead of mangling what it could do well in a poor attempt to mimic bass. Overall, it's OK, and the fact that it's water proof and floats would be helpful in a few situations. I'm sure there are other devices for the same price that sounds better.

Bought two hoping that I would like more. Sound is overall good but for price point disappointing that there is a lack of features suck as app with ability to control EQ and combining two speakers for L&R audio. The process to pair works but is very confusing at first and seems to have to be done in an exact order for it to have any hope of working. The initial start up sound is too much, especially if using in an environment with other people nearby. Needs to be a way to disable or turn down.

Don't buy from them. They sold me a damaged Wonderboom. The Bluetooth connection keeps dropping (from the second I unboxed) and it will playback static and more static. It's like trying to listen to music through a potato.

I've been a loyal Ultimate Ears customer for years now, and their products, like the Wonderbooms 2 & 3, have always impressed me. Their speakers usually deliver fantastic sound in a durable, portable package. That's why the WB 4 is such a disappointment, despite its otherwise excellent audio quality and usual WB portability. The absolute dealbreaker for this speaker is the intrusive voice that announces the battery level and mode changes (outdoor, podcast, normal). It's incredibly cringe and annoying. When you simply want to check the power level or switch between listening modes, this loud, jarring voice blasts over whatever music, podcast, or even silence you're enjoying. It completely disrupts the listening experience and makes what should be a convenient feature into a major frustration. This single flaw makes an otherwise great product incredibly difficult to recommend; I cannot give it anything other than a 1 star review as I will be using my WB 3s until/unless they release a patch to allow the voice to be toggled off :(

I bought one, tried it, and it sounded so good, I decided I wanted another one to pair it with. After I charged the second one, I can't get either one to turn on, and the vendor has not responded to my requests for help.
