Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4 Wireless Bluetooth Speaker, Pink 984-001878

I'm in love with this speaker and take it with me EVERYWHERE!

Good amplification and easy to use. But the package did not come with set up instructions! A more tech savvy person had to help me.

Great sound and volume for its size. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because it periodically (at most once every 15 minutes) disconnects from bluetooth for a brief second. Noticeable, but not intolerable issue. The rest of the speaker's capabilities make up for it.

Did not come with a charger, very odd. The sound is good but my daughter has to find a charger that fits. I'm not happy with that.

I had a UE megaboom for years and it worked perfectly even after using it hours every night to play white noise. Eventually the battery gave out and I decided to replace it with another UE model. I went with the wonderboom for the smaller, easier to transport form factor since super high volume and audio quality is not super necessary for me. Less than three weeks of use and it wakes me up in the middle of the night with a horrible, non-stop stuttering static noise. It will not turn off. The volume can not be lowered. Not even the force shut down of holding down the power and volume button worked. I had to wrap it in a thick sweater and shove it in a drawer until the battery died. What a complete waste of money.
