My son and I recently watched the outdoor boys and this was in their video, works exactly like they said it does perfect for when you don't have a lighter or things are wet works every time works well

I have been wanting one of these for a very long time, happy to find it here and will use it at the beach and while camping to start fires. I will get a water proof container for cotton balls, with Vaseline to assist with fire starting and maintaining of initial burn.

I fully admit I enjoy cool ideas like this product. The thought of using one hand to ignite the tinder pile on a cold outdoor trip appeals to me. Especially since I have done it the "old" way with flint and rock. Unfortunately what this tool requires in finger / thumb strength is a bit more than my old hands can reliably deliver. To be fair, it could be this one item that requires more effort. Otherwise, it works as advertised and at a fair price point.

When I ordered, it was supposed to be black when I received it it was lime green when I called Customer Service they said that the shipper only had green in stock that they no longer had black which was unacceptable because I did not want a lime green blastmatch I wanted black. Very disappointed.
