I just learned I can make yogurt in my Instant Pot and I like a real thick Greek yogurt and this item is perfect! I have the small instant pot so I can only make with a half a gallon of milk, the finished yogurt easily fits in the container, the container is an 8 inch square about 4 in tall without the lid so it doesn't take too much room in the fridge. 12 hours overnight strains the yogurt and makes it nice and thick, I may try leaving it in longer for even thicker yogurt. very pleased!

Super easy to use. I've recently started making my own yogurt, but was looking to make it high protein and with less sugar like Greek Yogurt. I poured some yogurt I had into the strainer and it immediately started separating any liquids into the lower bowl and was left with a more creamy yogurt. I'm going to leave it for 24 hrs and see how it looks. So far so good. Recommended.

This yogurt container is awesome to strain any yogurt, store bought or homemade, into greek yogurt, which has more protein (15-20 grams of protein, whereas regular yogurt only has 7-9 grams of protein) and it's lower in sugar and carbs. It also has more amino acids than regular yogurt and is easier to digest. It feels only fair to say that regular yogurt is higher in calcium and has more sugar and is more pourable for making dressings. They each have their own special place in your diet, according to your special needs.

The lid is a bit difficult to get off but I believe that means it has a nice seal to keep the yogurt from going rotten, cleaning the strainer and container was very easy.
