Purchased this for work for use in conference rooms with office-style carpeting. I wanted to connect a large monitor with a laptop and Owl - without the tripping hazard that a thicker cable creates. I'm using this cord with a wonderful, inexpensive cable cover that has a hook and loop design (like Velcro) that is super easy to install, uninstall, and reuse. This system is working very well for us. The only aspect of using this cable that is less convenient that the HDMI to HDMI cables we've used in the past is that the rigid and flat and wide nature of the cable can make it a bit less easy to connect to a laptop. I end up leaving a longer "tail" of excess cord on the tabletop next to my laptop to avoid putting too much of a twist into the cable itself and to avoid putting stress on the HDMI port on the laptop. The conventional round cords are softer and more flexible. One could address this by adding a short (round) HDMI extender to the end of the cable.

This HDMI cable works great. I am using it on a new 4K UHD Blu-ray Disc player (which, by the way, is used primarily for disc playback--not streaming; best picture and sound comes from physical media, always). Besides, I've got AppleTV 4K for streaming. I bought this HDMI cable to also future-proof my system as this is rated for 8K/60fps video (48Gbps) because my Denon Dolby Atmos/DTS-X A/V surround-sound receiver has both 8K and 4K HDMI ports on it. One day, I intend to utilize an 8K TV in my system (however, I have no idea what type of player will be developed for 8K movie/TV content--again, hopefully some type of physical media will be involved to accommodate 8K because it is always best for picture and audio performance and quality; a point important for home-theater enthusiasts since one does not set up a great or high-quality video/audio system--equipment-wise (speakers/TV, etc.)--simply to take in the highly compressed video and audio that comes with streaming). In short, yes, I would highly recommend this HDMI cable for those who want a high-quality cable now; but also for those looking to begin future-proofing their home-theater systems.

love that this is a flat cord. blends right in with my baseboard. was the perfect length to connect my console to my projector.

I use these with my gaming consoles and they work flawlessly at 4k 60hz. The small cable length also factored in to my purchase.

I was looking for a 20 ft HDMI cord and this one popped up, and it was on sale at a Great price! I think it may have been that it was white with a red stripe running through it but for what I need it for I appreciate that because I don't want people to trip on it. It's really not going to be in the pathway of people walking but it is going from a TV to the center of a stage. Anyways thank you for a great product at a great price!

I needed a long HDMI cable and this definitely got the job done with 50 feet. It is low profile as advertised, it's flat cable so less intrusive for cable management. My only issue is I'm getting 60 hz refresh at 1080p hooking it up to my laptop. I haven't tested 4k but at 1080p, the maximum refresh rate allowed is 60hz. I've used a different HDMI cable in the past that outputs 1080p 144hz so I know it's not a device issue. So if you're planning to use the cable on your 4k TV, please note you're not going to get your best refresh rate. I can't speak on what it is at 4k but it could even be 30hz. But if you are indifferent on that, cable works great!

Good quality, but the cables are rather stiff making it difficult to use. Also, when cables are this stiff, it can cause stress on the HDMI port itself, causing the port to break loose from the board inside.

They are basic HDMI cables that use a flat connection wire setup. They advertise that they are capable of much better output than they actually can. If you want decent HDMI cables at a good price than they'll serve that function, but they can not process 8k or any sort of new HDMI connectivity. I should have known when i bought a 2 pack for like 8$.

This 50' cord is was unable to do HDMI 2.0 as advertised, 4k does not work at rates above 30Hz. Can barely do 4k30 as it produces occasional intermittent signal loss.
