Ultra Downy Fabric Conditioner, April Fresh, 60 Loads

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband is a Sheriff's Deputy and many days comes home from work smelling of sweat from running, smoke from putting out brush fires, and many other not so pleasant things. I wash his uniforms separately from the family's laundry and have always been nervous to do the sniff test on his clean clothes (especially the smoky ones). I started using Downy with Odor Defense a couple weeks ago and can tell a HUGE difference. His uniforms come out of the dryer smelling fresh and clean and stay like that the entire shift! We haven't had smoky clothes in the past week, and I am sure it won't stop that smell from soaking in, but I am confident it will help. 10/10 would purchase again.

It really does eliminate the lingering odors of even the smelliest jobs, (ie. fast food, paving, mechanic, garbage pick up, etc), the softening effect and scent is great as well. Downey Protect and Refresh is a must try product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This new blend from Downey is incredible! My clothes came out of the wash smelling so fresh and clean. I very much like the fact that it helps to reduce wrinkles, and there was not any static in my clothes as normally there is! I had added to the wash a blanket from my doggie that was very dirty. It came out looking incredible—as clean as when I first brought it home, with the colors back to nice and bright, and oh so soft! There was far less fuzz and pilling with this Downey Protect & Refresh, than what I have experienced with other brands. This product is definitely a winner in my book!

So when i tried this product I instantly noticed the difference with the amazing fragrance and then with how much softer my clothes were! April fresh was my Downy of choice and I am loving this new updated formula. If you want soft amazingly fresh smelling clothes that still keep their original color after wash then this is it!

I was skeptical though that my laundry would stay smelling as freshly scented as it did, much longer than 24 hours. I have three children and very large dogs that love to play outside in the dirt and come in and stain clothes, blankets, and bath towels so I was excited to try this product! I followed the directions on the back of the bottle and was very pleased that my dogs blankets smelled fresh and the smell lasted!!! You can really tell the difference from using only standard laundry soap and then when adding Downy Refresh and Protect Fabric Softener. My clothes felt soft and I didn't notice my clothes having any signs of wear and tear or color running. I do a lot of laundry everyday for a family of five, at least three loads a day and it was a really great product. My favorite thing about it was the long lasting fresh scent; so relaxing and eliminated that stinky dog smell! My clothes were soft as promised. I've used it all week and have been very pleased.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok firdt impressions i love the bottle and april fresh is one of my favorite scents! I washed my sheets first and even after line drying they were not stiff but soft and smelled great. Then i washed my towels and threw them in the dryer. I didnt even need to add dryer sheets. My towels came out soft, fresh and static free! I love this product and will definately be buying more when i run out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The packaging is simple yet it catches your eye. I love the fresh and clean smell of Downy and couldn't wait to wash my clothes with it. I felt like a true test would be to wash my Husband's work clothes and have him wear them all day. I was right. He told me people asked about if he was using a new body soap or detergent and he told them that I had used Ultra Downy on his work clothes. At the end of the day when he came home from work he told me that his clothes felt more comfortable and they still had a fresh scent to them. In my book, that means its a winner and that I will be buying this in the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this product. It's a little more watery than detergent I'm used too, so be careful when pouring it out the first time. My clothes came out of the wash very soft and they smelled great. I would describe the smell as "fresh." I would absolutely recommend this to a friend. The rooms surrounding the wash actually smelled really nice from doing laundry with this detergent. Picture for idea of size. I put a small pad of sticky notes next to it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before getting this product make sure you like floral scents. This definitely left my clothes feeling soft especially my towels! After leaving them in my linens closet for only two hours when I opened the closet to get a towel the whole closet smelled fresh and lovely! Kept my thin shirts from stretching and that matters a lot. The collars on my T-shirt's were not stretched even after drying them with jeans and towels.

I love how strong the aroma is on our clothes. We just had two viruses go through our house and I had a lot of washing to do. Of course I used this fabric softener and am confident that our colors will not change, wash after wash, after wash. Very pleased!
