Now this Monster Ultra Wild Passion has become one of my favorite little boosts when the day starts dragging or when I need a little extra push for an early morning gym session. The taste is actually really good. It is light, fruity, and refreshing without being overly sweet. Sometimes energy drinks can be heavy or syrupy, but this one stays crisp and smooth. You do not feel like you are forcing it down. And let me tell you, the boost is awesome. It gives me that clean, steady energy that helps me power through a workout or get over that mid-day slump without feeling jittery or weighed down. Zero sugar, great flavor, and dependable energy. This one stays stocked in my fridge for when I need to get up and go.
My husband loves these. We bought them weekly from walmart, but instead of being $19 something it's now $23 something. So we get them at menards where they are still $19 something for the same thing. If walmart lowers the price back to $19 something, I will continue buying them from walmart as it's handier since I have my groceries delivered. But, that's a $4 increase. Stupid.
Overall, not bad. It tastes great and definitely helps get me going in the early morning hours. I used to be a huge coffee drinker, but over the past few years the quality of most coffee seems to have gone downhill, so I’ve pretty much given up on it. Lately I’ve switched to one energy drink in the morning and a couple of caffeine pills in the early afternoon, and that routine seems to be working just fine.
I’m diabetic so the sweetness of the white Monster energy drink is not overwhelming. I’ve tried a few of the other flavors but I keep coming back to this one. I like the vitamin content that is in these drinks. I feel like something is missing if I haven’t had one for a few days. I have been drinking these long enough that I can’t get the effects of the caffeine any more but I like them. As far as pricing goes, I had much rather pay a lower price. Who wouldn’t?
Great taste! perfect for those mornings or afternoons when you need the energy to get stuff done. From my experience there is no hard crash like the ones that have sugar in them. I am not sensitive to caffeine and it did not make me jittery or hyper.
This flavor is ideal to turn it into whatever you like. All you have to do is add a few drops of flavor drops such as Crystal Light or Kool Aid drops to the liquid and it becomes what ever the flavor you were wanting. I personally use grape and cherry. But I would imagine you could easily use orange, ice tea or lemonade. If you don't want to change the flavor that cool too because it has a really clean taste to it just as it is. It also does not give you any of caffeine side effects. It just keeps you going. I do recommend this Monster flavor.
After trying this Zero Sugar option of Monster I had a bit if a mixed reaction at first. I never have opted for anything zero sugar, So obviously it was going to be not what I would normally expect taste wise. However, after trying a bit of this Punk Punch flavored Zero Sugar Monster energy drink, its honestly not to bad. I would not hesitate to buy it next time.
I've been a long-time fan of the Ultra line, and this Liberty pack is a smart way to mix things up instead of being locked into a case of one flavor. The Zero Ultra and Ultra Blue Hawaiian are both crisp, light, and refreshing — exactly what I want in a sugar-free energy drink, and the caffeine kick is smooth without the jittery crash. The only reason I'm docking a star is that one of the three flavors (the Punk Punch) felt a bit too punchy/sweet for my taste, so I found myself reaching for the other two more often. Also, at around $21–25 for a 12-pack, it's pricier than a single-flavor case, though still way cheaper than buying cans individually at the gas station. Overall, if you like the Ultra family and want a little rotation, this is a solid buy — just know you're getting a mix, not your favorite flavor ×12.
Ultra Sunrise Monster is carbonated. It tastes of orange soda. The energy drink may have been slightly dehydrating. Its effects lasted a minimum of 4 hours. Monster Energy Ultra Sunrise tasted like one of Monster's better energy drink products (no headache, no noticeable physical side effects, not a mental depressant drink. One-12 to 16 fl. oz. amount can review)
Packaging was perfect, however every single can inside the box is damaged. I think these were not kept at room temperature and the cans began to crinkle.
