This is a nice starter Sim kit for those who aren't sure what carrier that they would like to use. Its a generous plan with 10GB. It was very easy to set up, just insert Sim card and follow the directions. I have used prepaid plans for the last 20 years not wanting to commit to a company for a year or ect. I would recommend trying this out. It is a little more expensive than some of the plans that I have used, but its a pretty decent plan overall. I had no problems with the reception, it worked well with my Samsung cell phone.
I am pleasantly surprised at how reliable the service is with this Ultra Mobile Prepaid Wireless kit. I live in a more rural area and my regular cell service is not great. Switching my current SIM card with the Ultra Mobile SIM card was super easy and it does not affect your existing service at all. My calls haven't been dropping and I love the unlimited texting, I use it most. Reliable, problem-free service, I like it a lot!
Perfect way to get some service on an u locked phone without starting up a whole contract with a company. Make sure your phone is unlocked. The start up was easy and checking the compatibility of a pre-owned phone can be done online. Initial start up needs to be done in store but after that renewing the plan is can be completed online. The service is decent most days. Keep an eye on your data usage because it slows down when the threshold is reached.
easy to install and comes out automatically
Couldn't use it. The app said that it would work with my phone, but it doesn't.
Before you buy it. This is an expired SIM card. Ordered online and picked from a local store. You better go to a local store to check the activation date before paying. Walmart won't let you return it to get refund inside the store no matter what. You have to call online service to ship back to Walmart. Went to the store again and asked a Walmart employee opened 7-8 packs and eventually found one effective as of 2027 then paid for that one that worked.
Could not use - the unlocked phone I ordered had no sim tray w/ it; so this card is useless - just like the phone. I have no time to order another phone, before it was needed.
My review is neutral, as I received an open package with contents removed. Credit Walmart, they refunded and AI assistant apologized for incident. I don't hold bad experience against them
I was optimistic about the freedom having a prepaid plan would offer. Not only as a second phone I could put in my purse when the other phone died, but also to let the older child use when she's with a friend or running to the restroom alone in a big store. Imagine not worrying when your child is taking forever, and it's just that she stopped to look at something that led to another something… It's just not a safe world anymore. I primarily looked forward to safely calling lawyers as I attempt to be free of my situation. I have two old iPhones, and the newer one was fine to use. Step one was assuring it was unlocked. Done. The chip was too wide for the slot. I was told to press gently but firmly, and it finally popped in. Setting up service online was not too complicated, but… the phone still says there's no SIM card. Customer service was unable to figure it out.
Walmart sold me an expired SIM card. When the card arrived to my home delivered by USPS. The card could not be activated because the SIM card was expired. Even Ultra Mobile confirmed the reason for the activation code not working was because I had received an expired SIM card. Now I must attempt to order another card from Walmart and hope they deliver a working SIM card, or attempt to get a refund.
