Ultra Silver claims on their website that there is "FAIR" coverage at my address but I was unable to make or receive calls. I cancelled my plan but they refuse to unlock the phone unless I pay for 12 months ($120 plus taxes). So with the purchase price of $49 it becomes an expensive phone that I won't be able to use for a year. They also will not refund anything. No returns. I discovered that there are better flip phones for less money and $10/mo plans that have good coverage here. So keep shopping but watch out for this one. It is a losing gamble.
If it were possible to give a product zero stars, this would be the one. There is absolutely nothing good about this phone. First, it's supposed to be for seniors. No way. The book that comes with it is the size of a credit card, and is almost impossible to read without a magnifying glass. Second, the buttons for use, the camera, messages, etc, are all mixed up with the keyboard, and there are no shortcuts. It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to read the message they sent me to tell me that I couldn't go in the net because the settings were wrong. Great. They put in the settings. The only thing remotely fair, was setting up the phone. It's a series of questions, mainly to get your banking information for future charges, which is funny since it's a month to month phone. In short, run as fast as you can from this phone, and this company that makes it, as well as the company that it goes on. All are not worth the aggravation you'll go thru with the phone or the service.
