We started him on this product and, within a month, we could see a noticeable difference in his body condition. He now maintains a healthy weight without any other changes to his diet. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a 10 yr old mare who is an easy keeper. I ride her almost every day and run her on the weekends and it's still hard to keep weight off her. After 3 weeks on chromium yeast she is loosing weight and looking great. I would highly recommend it!

This pelleted form is definitely a better way to ensure my equines are getting their supplements. I just wish the bag would reseal properly. Not sure why it's not catching. I get around that by only opening a small section and leaving the rest sealed. I roll the bag down as tight as I can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My horse is doing great on this supplement! I started him on it a couple weeks ago in hopes to help him lose some weight. He was a BCS of 7 (borderline 8), and I suspected insulin resistance maybe. I had tried everything from taking him off of grass, putting him on a pasture with a hill and a young buddy to keep him moving, increasing exercise, changing his ration balancer to an even lower starch, soaking hay, and trying other supplements. He was losing weight, but just not enough given how much we had tried. Once I started him on this, he started going back to a healthier weight much faster than before the supplement. Obviously, the other changes helped, however after starting this supplement and increasing work, he is now still losing weight even though he is back on a grass pasture and not on the hill anymore! I would highly recommend trying this supplement for insulin resistant horses/overweight horses as part of your plan to get them back to a healthy weight!
