UltraCruz® Equine Metabolic Support, 10 lb

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd bag given to my welsh pony. He was diagnosed about a year ago with metabolic issues. I read about several products to help with this, after much research I decided to go with Santa Cruz. My vet approved it and after only 6 months his numbers were greatly reduced. February of 2026 blood work was done again and his numbers are better yet. He was thrilled. I will continue giving it to my welsh after these great results. I am very pleased with their products.

I used a competitor's metabolic support for a decade. UltraCruz has the same ingredients at a better price and it is pelletized instead of a powder. It is more palatable to the horse. I would highly recommend this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for my freisan whose metabolic panel was out of balance. The vet initially put him on Thyroid and Pursend, but he did not tolerate it. His respiratory rate shot up and stayed up, broke out in a sweat, and generally would not eat his pellet rations with this stuff I it. I rememberefvevery other suppliment I have purchased here for my guys, and found this. A God send to be sure. He is perky again, interest and engaging as per his usual!!! Great stuff and superior customer service.

Great product that worked. Had my gelding insulin level check to make sure that when I made the switch from another brand, that was quite expensive , that his level would not change. It did not ! Quite happy with the results. Ingredients in expensive and San Cruz brand, identical except for slightly less magnesium.

I only stopped because I couldn't afford it anymore with being laid off. I can definitely tell it was helping based on how my horse and donkey look without it.

My horse has equine metabolic syndrome, not severe enough for meds yet. I am hoping that this will help to avoid a lot of dry lot and muzzle time for as long as possible. Mare is 21.
