[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this product for years. It's hard to find a quality non-synthetic vitamin E product that doesn't break the bank. This one is so good I have been able to decrease the daily dose and still get blood levels in the normal range (when my Shiver's horse was below the reference range to start). And my picky eater finishes them off. Love this not being a liquid with storage/freshness issues that entails. Will continue to purchase this and other products from SCAH for as long as they carry them.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My gelding was diagnosed with navicular syndrome over a year ago. Nothing we did helped him get comfortable, not even OsPhos injections. After a year of stall rest, only marginally better. I started him on Santa Cruz Vitamin E supplement because I felt his problem was mostly neuropathic. The pellets were easy to feed and is very palatable. He is now serviceably sound at a walk and trot and at 20 years old, I am very happy with the outcome!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My horse and others in at our boarding barn had low Vitamin E levels due to the local forage. Several of us started using this product on the advice of the barn owner. The horses like the pellets and it has been raising the E levels for our animals. Win/Win
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Your Vitamin E was my second attempt to provide the supplement to a very suspicious of everything, horse. Your product was well received with great enthusiasm and less in price. Thank you for producing a product that even the fussiest will eat with gusto.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this Vitamin E supplement is in pellet form. Pellets mean that I know easily if my horse is or isn't eating all that I give him. Powders can stick to the bottom of the feed buckets OR they can blow away. Great product!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the ONE Vitamin E supplement that I trust for my horses and my patients! I have tested Vitamin E levels in horses being fed other brands of Vitamin E. They are almost always still low! I've had great success with Santa Cruz Vitamin E!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the ease of mind that the Ultracruz Equine Natural Vitamin E Plus gives me- unlike the liquid E, I know that my horse is getting the Vitamin E that he's supposed to receive and that he needs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My mare is a picky eater & when I introduce anything to her grain it's common for her to forgo her feeding. The Natural Vitamin E in pellet form was a winner & she didn't seem to know that I added it to her daily feed. The reason I chose Ultracruz products is because my friend at the barn is a vet & she uses the products for her horse, so I know that I can trust them and that I giving my horse the best!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using Ultra Cruz supplements for several years and I am very pleased with the results.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the first time I've purchased directly from SJR -SCAH & in a smaller bag (usually buy 10 lbs). Upon opening the first bag I noticed a lot of powder, similar to what I saw in the bottom of the 10 lb bag I just finished. I'm a little disappointed as I'm not sure how much of the powder gets gobbled or lost when the horse is fed (I've found pellets on the ground occasionally). I bought the smaller bags because horse is for sale, and don't know how long he'll be around. This was approximately half of the cost of the 10 lb bag for 2/5ths of the amount. So definitively not the cheapest way if feeding longer term. As to using Vit E itself, don't know what sorts of differences it has helped with. However since the horse has some low level inflammation (over eyes, around eyes, & under jaw), I haven't wanted to stop in case it is helping. Vit E (& this brand) was recommended by the trainer I work with. I can say, after doing extensive research, if you are looking for a natural Vit E supplement for horses, this one provides the most amount in each serving. Which makes it the most cost effective way to supplement with large Vit E doses. And the horse gladly eats up the pellets, always asking for more. If you are looking for a natural Vit E supplement I do recommend trying this one.
