[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having a horse need treatment for sand in the gut, I have been through tracking with radiographs for 3 years. Once I went to using a grazing muzzle plus following my vet's prescription for 4 scoops a day (not one) for 7 days on and 7 days off (not just one week per month), my horse has gone over 2 years without accumulating any sand.
I was confident that my horse had cleared any sand he may have had. Much more waste at the end of the treatment. He did get used to the "texture" the psyllium had when I added it to his supplement bucket .
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love, my horses all eat it and it's so much more affordable than other brands. Perfect supplement for monthly sand treatment.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought psyllium to control my horse's free fecal water syndrome. It has helped immensely. I chose UltraCruz Equine Pure Psyllium because it is more economical than other brands, and because it doesn't come in a difficult-to-recycle plastic bucket. Now if it could come in an easy-to-recycle brown paper bag instead of a plastic bag, I'd be tickled pink!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so glad I found this product. My horse has IR and cannot have added flavorings and sweeteners. Most psyllium products for horses have these things added. I can feed her this without worrying about extra ingredients.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Best product ever for horses on sandy soil. Use at least 1 week out of the month.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for a picky eater. Hopefully goodbye to the sand.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely no issues with my order, I'm happy with the product. Will order again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recommended this type of product by ECIR group vet to gain control of free fecal water. I was amazed the ponies ate it all without hesitation on wet timothy pellets. It turned into a goo, but they still ate it and the FFW has been under control since using this product. This may not be the intended use but it worked. My ponies have suffered for years, and I was tired of washing their tails.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My horse eats this psyllium with no issue. I am impressed by the quality of the product. I am giving it to him as a form of digestive support rather than for sand clearance as he does not live in a sandy area. I wish it was offered in a larger sized bag!
