I cannot say much as for product efectivity as we are going to do the boluses in a few weeks, but I've read a lot of science papers and also experiences of breeders worldwide and I am happy that such a product with slow release copper is a available, I prefer it and find it much safer than free daily served minerals

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can't make your own boluses cheaper than this, and they come packaged nicely in a very sturdy and reusable plastic tub with a screw on cap. It's rugged enough to be able to keep out in the barn and the boluses stay dry. Copper boluses help reduce the barber pole worms in my goats as I've seen when checking fecal egg counts.

In the southwestern U.S., goats tend to have issues with coper levels being too low. Most of the people I know raising dairy goats in this area - and that's a lot of goat breeders - use a copper bolus. This brand is the best value we have come across. I will note however, that my goats tend to need higher and more frequent doses than listed on the container. I dose at 1 gram per 25 pounds, every 6 months.
