The lock works well in all of its modes.

Easy to set up. Ran into one glitch and was able to get support within an hour via email. They helped me get the issue resolved. All the kids/grandkids love having their own fingerprint access!

The fingerprint feature is the one I really like. I picked this over August for this sole reason. Other features are nice too, such as auto-lock, password, and a backup mechanical key option.

This thing is awesome. Have had it installed for a few weeks now and its easy to setup and easy to use. Love the autolock feature and and fingerprint scanning

The lock arrived earlier than expected. Setup was easy with the app. I had an issue with the fingerprint reader - the option to add fingerprints did not show up in the app. I used email to communicate with customer service - they answered within 10 minutes!! We had the issue resolved with about 3 emails back and forth - in about 2 hours! Customer service is awesome with this company. The lock works great, and looks great. My grandkids get a kick out of having their own fingerprints registered. BTW - the fingerprint feature showed up in the app later that day. Not sure if customer support did something to the app on the backend - but it works great. Notes - the bolt is a little longer than my previous bolt. I needed to drill the hole a little deeper. I can check the status of door locked, and lock it, from anywhere. You can set up autolock - it will lock itself after a set time. Hidden feature - this lock is fun to use, so your driving kids will use the front door instead of opening the garage to come in the house. You need to buy the lock that comes with the bridge to connect it to your home wifi for remote access. This lock has lots of great features!

I have 4 rental properties so I went all in with these locks to be able to remotely manage who was coming and going. I ended up purchasing 2 U-bolt Pros and 2 U-bolts. I am almost 2 yrs into some of the lock so I can give you my honest assessment if this is something you should consider First - The installation and set up for me was ok. Initially it was easy to install and they all hooked up to the software fairly easy. But two issues arose. One is if you use the bridge make for wifi connection make sure you have an outlet close to the lock or it won't connect. Two make sure your door lock strike plate and lock mechanism are perfectly line up when door is shut. Second - The application is good. It has a lot of useful features like being able to auto lock, setting up people with just a specific time period they have access. customizing codes per individual etc.. Third - Once installed and set up this is where the usefulness of the two lock (U-bolt vs U-bolt pro) were different. The Standard U-bolt worked fine. I generally did not have any issues except one of the bridges did not connect properly and after many back and forth's with customer service they sent a new one which worked great right away. For the U-bolt Pro, the fingerprint recognition worked great when first set up but never really worked well after that on either lock so that feature to me became useless. Secondly the key pads on both were alway temperamental, sometime the code would work and sometimes not. Third and most importantly Both of the Pro series keypads completely stopped working within months of each other. One was purchased in February of 2021 the other in May of 2021. I attached video's of both keypads, you can see from the one video that if you press the middle finger recognition it lights up but keys are totally disabled. I have contacted U-bolt but they said they would replace one but not the other since it is out of their warranty. So unfortunately I am stuck with the other lock (they did say they would give me a 30% discount on a new U-bolt pro) I actually told them I would accept a replacement with the cheaper U-bolt since I cannot have these locks failing ever 18 months. Unfortunately they can only replace it with the pro. A note on customer service since I have many contacts with them. Sally at customer service has been great and has really tried to help me but in the end it sounds like her hands are tied and they will only stand by the locks for a certain amount of time. For that reason I would stay away especially from U-bolt pro series. It seams the complexity of the lock and the way the key pad is hinged to fold down might contribute to the fact it just won't hold up over the long term.
