Uncle Ben's Spanish Style Ready Rice, 8.8 oz

I absolutely love how easy these are to prepare, and how fluffy the rice turns out. I was making a Mexican casserole on the fly and found this in the basement shelf when I went to get my black beans. First I sautéd garlic, onions, red pepper, added rinsed black beans, a can of green chilis, two cups of chopped prepared Tyson grilled chicken breast and cheddar cheese, then mixed in the Spanish rice after heating in the microwave for 90 seconds, then spread in a casserole dish and heated in the oven at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Finally I added cilantro and sliced green onions and served with my guacamole in a bowl. Low carb, high protein and absolutely delicious. Tank you Uncle Ben's!

I tried this for the first time this week and I was really surprised how great the taste was as I love Spanish Rice. It was great not having to wait a long time for it to cook. It is a great concept.

I bought this product yesterday and made it last night for as a side dish for dinner and it was a success. Everyone loved it so much. It was super easy to make I mean how can you beat 90 seconds in a microwave. I literally waited for my chicken to be done and then threw this in the microwave and by the time i was dont setting the table the rice was done hot and ready to go!

Bought this to put inside a burrito. I added diced sautéed onions, corn and black beans and squeezed in lime juice. I placed about a cup of rice mixture inside flour tortilla and topped with sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo. It made a delicious meal in less than 10 minutes.

I have bought this brand and version of the rice before and this time we kept finding little plastic like pieces in the rice we like the rice and have never had this issue before.

bought the spanish rice last night & here it is the next morning i have severe diarrhea & i've thrown up nothing BUT this nasty rice! 0/10 never wasting my money on this product again

Of the 3 flavors I have tried, this one by far is the worst! Every flavor of these that I have tried has been awful. They have a really weird smell (maybe the plastic bag?), especially this one. Nobody in my house would eat it. I didn't even want to eat it after smelling it. One bite and it went in the trash. The texture is already mushy like overcooked rice. I'm a great home cook and have a very well developed palate (non-smoker). Sorry but this stuff is disgusting.

Deserves zero stars. I purchased this, went to make it a day or two later. There was mold or mildew all throughout the bag.
