Uncut Gems (Criterion Collection)

This movie is a tense look at a gambler addicted to finding more and more. It made me uncomfortable in a way that a thriller or even a horror movie does not. That's a testament to the direction and the unlikely dramatic performance by Adam Sandler. The 4K is absolutely up to Criterion's high standards, and well worth the extra cost in my opinion. The delivery was terrific, with a fresh new copy delivered without flaws.

High tension, edge of your seat movie. Quality of this 4K release is fantastic. Definite recommend if you can handle the pressure.

Criterion's 4K release of Uncut Gems is seriously awesome. The Dolby Vision transfer looks stunning, and the Atmos audio cranks up the film's wild energy and vibrant colors. It's loaded with cool extras too, like interviews, screen tests, and a great essay by J. Hoberman. If you're a fan of the Safdie Brothers or Adam Sandler's intense performance, this edition is definitely worth grabbing!
